If they kept stats of that nature, I'd bet my house that no teams run 4 wide for 80% of a game.

The same season in which the QB doesn't call protections correctly. Mike Vick is repeatedly knocked as a guy that can't properly call protections, and is usually one of the most sacked QBs in the league.

Exactly. So like people who run 4 wide 80% of their offensive plays you aren't concerned that your 756 sacks per game hasn't happened previously, just that it could potentially happen given the right conditions.

For real, I feel like some CBs will press over 90% of a game if the matchup is right.
Well I've been watching Newman give a 12 yard cushion for the past four years so maybe my perspective is skewed.

Regarding the Bengals, I don't give a fuck about the team. I am a Giants fan. I will be playing AT for them just like we did with Madden 12.
OK. So if halfback pass was for some reason more viable in Madden than in real life we should run halfback passes all day, because it's a possibility and LDT had 4 TD passes on it?
The Saints played a game this past season where their #1 priority was pressing Calvin Johnson at the LOS.

Your reasoning for the sacks is the opposite. Madden players are poor at making line adjustments so you smartly take advantage of it, just like real teams would. So, if real teams were shitty at defending the HB pass, it would happen more often (wildcat!) in real life and thus would be realistic should we do it in Madden.
The reasoning allows for just about any play style to be realistic.

Alright so I finally got back from Cali and can play whatever games I have left... Damn I miss that place.
I was ill-informed when we left and thought I would be staying in San Diego the entire 4-5 days but really we were in Encinitas for a day, San Diego for a day, and then went to a resort/Palo Casino (not sure where that was) but I have to say San Diego, Encinitas, and Carlsbad were all awesome.
