You need to survive death by a 1000 paper cuts against Clemson's shotgun spread offense with dat crazy RB. Try to keep gains to a minimum, make long drives, and hope to get a turnover or two while not doing so yourself.

Man, that game was so tense. Everytime I got ahead, Lone would stomp all over my defense and get a touchdown also. The counter is good only because I audible out of it anytime I see a defensive formation that's going to stop it.

GG though, man. They're always close ones.

I thought the spread counter was fine.

Az runs a smart - and completely predictable offense.

He never throws outside. He only uses his RB and TE in the passing game, rarely scrambles.

If anything, i see that it doesn't work out of the standard TE formation that I have. I need the fb/h back setup. Maybe someone else can use these to prep for him. Oh, I forgot, he doesn't play anyone till the end of the season!

Was I playing FMT or Konex? I think every single passing play you ran was this:

Snap
Wait 2 secs to pretend you were going to pass in the pocket
Run to the right
Pass across body with pin point accuracy or scramble for 4-5 yards

If there was a chart of % of passes thrown on areas of the field, the right sideline would be 99%.

Nothing I can do when FMT can run to the right sideline and then bomb it 30+ yards to the other side of the field for completions.

you should've been more concerned about me running for a buck fifty on you and you going 1/5 passing in the first half.... that one completion on the final play of the half when i had all my guys backed up.

and what should i do with martinez when your d-line is fucking destroying the center of my o-line? take another sack? sounds fun but no. i looked for open receivers plenty and almost threw a few picks because your guys jerseys blend in with the field.

anyhow, if you have a problem with someone getting on the outside send some corner blitzes. that's the difference between our QB's: you tried to scramble and ran into a blitz getting sacked, i scrambled and you just had a spy so i had enough time to get the ball out. and i think i had 2 completions on scrambles anyways (they were important plays though!)

You were 10 for 14 on 3rd downs, your RB had nothing to do with anything. Those were phantom yards. What was killing me was getting you to 3rd down over and over and then OH HERE HE GOES TO THE SIDELINE.

lulz phantom yards indeed. 20 yard TD rush, 20 yard rush to get me inside the 5 before the half, ran on you the entire drive running the clock out when you needed a stop to get the ball back. garbage time yards!

like i said, if you're going to sit back in coverage and spy me, not bring anyone off the edge and your defense is blowing up my line what should i do? you are exaggerating in saying that every play i scrambled out on a design, that's not true. and i literally had 2 completions on scrambles to the right: one before the half on a pin point throw and another on the 5 wide play deep. all of the other plays i either scrambled for what i could get or it was incomplete.

and my #1 wr was injured the entire game :(

lol i didn't say there weren't designed scrambles. but you said literally every throw i made i scrambled to the right and then threw it. i have a qb with 90 speed and 94 acc, i'm not going to sit in the pocket every drop back. i like how you ignore my point with the running on you, but i guess that isn't convenient to your argument.

don't worry, you'll get another shot at me in the conference championship after i beat cb

and lets not forget i sacked you on a few 3rd downs where you basically tried to do the samething:

1. look at the coverage, no one is open
2. you try to scramble and get sacked because i have guys coming from the outside

not sure why you're so salty. you showed one of the 2 rollout 3rd down completions i had. if there were a bunch more you would've saved them i'm sure

p.s.

and the other rollout completion i have came on a playaction rollout so.... yeah.
