I joined for Erin Brockovich discussion
I'm asking, How do I stop that, cause I couldn't find anything to stop it.

I just ran different versions of that play in Practice, and my CPU defense stopped it greater than 75% of the time. What is a CPU defense doing differently than what happened against Az?

Contain with the DT in a 4 man front, unlike other counters there's not much of a cutback lane.
Play outside linebacker on that side and protect the edge.

Cover 2 zone will put the corners in the flats, my shitty corners come up and make tackles, so I'm sure yours do too.

I don't remember it causing huge problems beyond "oh, this again."

I did run alot of Cover 2, but not in those vids. Trying to remember, I think he must have audible to the straight Dive/Draw, and picked up 5-10 yards.

i guess i can't please everyone. do you guys want a human conference title game or not? cause if not, then i'll revert all the division back to no conference title game and everyone in the conference plays each other!

I'd rather all one one side, or move it to 3 conferences of 4 teams, 2 on each side. This uneven shit is just that, uneven. You can only set 1 perm rival, you can't control the other cross division games.

Also, do away with the CPU OOC games, or give everyone one. If there's a team someone wants for a Rival game, just put that team in the conference. I've seen FSU asked for, well, replace Vandy or Kentucky!

And give the 6 Human game schedule to somebody else next season! It's been a nice kick in the balls!




I will play our game eventually, maybe, when I feel like it, when I have time, and when I have healed my broken hand from punching a hole in the door.

I haven't had a CPU OOC game, who has? 1 person? Anomaly.

2 and 1 is fine for conferences. Protect one rivalry across conference and then switch the lone guy each year to be the guy who won the previous year, ergo, winning your conference has the additional benefit of making the road out of the conference come through you.

Gives that human v. human game a nice bonus touch.

Like I said yesterday, you play six humans this year, I'll end up with five, human CCG pending.

That doesn't seem like as big of a deal as you're making this out to be (sort of like the spread counter stuff from this a.m. ;b)

Luke: that's not the same. Say I made it to Atlanta: that's 7 games. If I make a bowl game: that's 8.

Sure, I'll go to the PAC 10. Just bring LSU or Auburn with me, and call it a day.

I know one of the SECguys got FSU, and CB3 got ND.

If we are making requests, throw Illinois in the Big 10. Or maybe move Nebraska where they belong in the Big 10 and QB cheese us. I don't want anymore non Big 10 teams in the conference.

I'm ok with how it is right now. Our fast advances are due to having some CPU games. Add more human element to it and we have slower vances.

Besides, college schedules can be lopsided at times anyway.

we'll figure it out in the offseason but i'm definitely going to cut it down to 3 conferences. just makes sense and then one person isn't stuck with more human games.

in other news, lonestar DE contain and short zones will stop that counter play. dm ran it against me and after the first 5+ yard gain i stopped it. sometimes if i get a vibe someone is going to run that play ill just audible blitz to the rb's side and that blows it up too

Because it's always the last game of the season so I can't bring most high profile recruits to visit as they'll all have committed by then.

do you get a bonus for having recruits in at rivalry games? i've gotten A ratings at non rivalry games so how much more is a rivalry game going to add?

I'd say a win with a visit is better than a loss. Not sure about at a rivalry game. My visits with Clemson ended up as B's. Reason enough to avoid having visits with human games :)

gg My defense has stepped up even since i got countered by Clemson. My first season playing CB is paying off, another user pick :)

I hate my Qb. His accuracy is so fucked up. over throws simple cross patterns that float to a S for an int. Ugh, i hope his progression helps with that.
