Can you imagine what would happen if Saitama went out of country for a month? Chaos all around. It's a good thing he's too poor to do that.
I guess Mumen Rider is all right.
I don't know how to feel about this show now, the last few episodes haven't been so great. In fact I would even call them annoying.
How so?
Genuine question here but is it for personal reasons it bothers you?I guess it just annoys the hell out of me how Saitama keeps not getting any credit at all. I just don't find that situation fun or funny.

This show is sooo good. I love how unexpectedly deep/emotional it can get sometimes.
Is it true that after ep 12 there might not be any more anime?
After episode 12 only time will tell. Source material is there, but not material based off the adaptation they're using. This show is sooo good. I love how unexpectedly deep/emotional it can get sometimes.

This season is only 12 episodes, yeah. So that's it until a new season is announced. This show is sooo good. I love how unexpectedly deep/emotional it can get sometimes.

Only thing annoying is the mental gymnastics the general public has to do in order to defame Saitama as a hero.
Saitama blows up meteor to save the city -> HE DESTROYED THE CITY!
Saitama beats godly monsters -> He's a cheat! A fraud! The other heroes were also really weak!
I guess his true strength is far beyond their comprehension. It's like everyone is Hercule from DBZ, they will try to spin anything in order to explain the craziness they are witnessing.
It was pretty cool of Saitama to play the heel as a fraud in order to give props to the other heroes. The mob was damn near about to turn on the other heroes as well for being too weak. Which was also pretty awful... I mean people wouldn't turn on policemen if they couldn't deal with giant monsters.
Depends on the Marvel hero. People love Spider Man (and he actually does work) but they hate the X Men.Ask Marvel heroes how they feel about the stability and logic of public opinion.
I think it's nice, now I don't really care if they get killed by some monster.Only thing annoying is the mental gymnastics the general public has to do in order to defame Saitama as a hero.

To be fair, that one was less of a stretch. No one was around to see him punch the meteor after the other heroes failed and IIRC the perception was that he got in the way of the S classers doing their job properly. This is less on the public and more on the Tank Tops Black Hole and Tiger being jealous and starting rumors of Saitama cheating.Only thing annoying is the mental gymnastics the general public has to do in order to defame Saitama as a hero.

When Beefcake destroyed that city and landed on the other one all I kept thinking about was how many people died. Now? Pfft, should've punched a few more cities while he was at it.
So is there any reason the Manga slowed down considerably and chapters got shorter and shorter? Is Murata working on something else?
Both ONE and Murata are consulting on the anime. So is there any reason the Manga slowed down considerably and chapters got shorter and shorter? Is Murata working on something else?
Ah so the Anime is both a curse and a gift. Both ONE and Murata are consulting on the anime.
What's up with Sweet Mask? Seems like his thing is burying other heroes.

No, he just has his own ideals what a hero is. And the current state of heroes, especially at the top (A and S class) go directly against that. You will see some of that soon. He's like the PR face of the hero association to the general public. It's kinda his job to make sure all the heroes are kept in line.
Not really burying. He's the Gate Keeper to the S rank class in a way, and he seems primarily concerned with PR and how the Association (specifically, the S Class) is perceived. While he isn't a bad guy, his entire persona is the exact opposite of what Saitama believes in when it comes to Heroism. What's up with Sweet Mask? Seems like his thing is burying other heroes.

Beefcake was monstrous in terms of power, almost everyone would've been destroyed

Hah that's awesome.Heh... there's a pretty fun bonus story that won't get animated unless they put it into a second season, butSaitama dresses up like a police officer to stop a monster so that the police don't get embarrassed by people thinking they're useless compared to heroes. Even better because the cops in question were resentful towards Saitama at the beginning because they hate how the existence of heroes has made cops look like chumps.
Could any of the other S class have stopped that meteor?
Yes. At least one in particular would have had no problem with it, and maybe even done a better job with the fallout than Saitama.Could any of the other S class have stopped that meteor?
Carnage kabuto and vaccine man are stronger than the giant brother.Monster ranking so far in the anime imo
1. The Giant Brother (just the physically strongest, a lot of raw power)
2. Carnage Kabuto (smart enough to tell Saitama's power)
4. Vaccine Man (could fly, throw energy attacks, destroy city blocks)
3. Sea King
4. Subterranean King (which is mostly my guess, I'm assuming he is almost on par with Sea King)
5. Mosquito Girl (just a lot more dangerous than Beast King taking into account all her abilities)
6. Beast King (Stronger than mosquito, but can't fly, etc)
7. Armored Gorilla
8. That Konbu Moster
9. Sea Monsters
10. Kamakiyuri

The creator of Mosquito girl himself said she was only a prototype and that her death didn't matter. So ranking her on top of Beast King seems weird.

edit: I think Carnage Kabuto may actually be way stronger than the giant brother now. Considering his creator was a much more brilliant scientist that the other brother.
Liked the episode. Dont really get why Saitama tries to divert the credit he's due.
Couldn't resist and started reading the manga. It's amazing, ffs, next arc will be glorious.
I just wish they did the side stories, some of them are pretty good.
