So many great moments. Really excited for season 3.
I hope they show Rosa going out in a blaze of glory. Pipers monologue, actually the entire scene with her, Larry and Pauly had me hollering.
Fantastic finale.
I do get the complaints that the main story never went very far though. However, in my opinion anyways, I'm glad they spent so much time on the inmates and getting to know them and their stories. I think that's why the finale resonated with me so well.

Agreed! Overall I love the casting in OITNB but I loooooathe Daya. Awful actress and really gross looking. I don't get it at all.
I think gross is slightly over stating it. But i just don't buy that she would be the one that the guard falls in love with

I dunno, she comes off as a smelly ol' beanbag to me. By far the least appealing inmate on the show imo.
Oh come on now, not this "she's not pretty enough for him" argument from last season.
I think they did a good job last season of establishing the connection between Daya and John, but their portrayal of Daya this season was confusing and infuriating. Daya just seemed bitter and angry in every goddamn scene, and her reasons for being upset at John pretty much all the time bordered on petulance.
Fucking spinach!? What? You don't care about providing for me and OUR baby!? (Did you miss the part where he'll be found out and sent to jail for years if he he does any more than he already is?)
Why you throw my homegirl in the SHU like that!? Sure she and pretty much everyone else in Spanish Harlem were blackmailing you, but you should have put up with it. THAT'S MY FAMILY. Nevermind they were quite possibly posing a real threat to my REAL FAMILY.

If her character was written to have a cool personality then this wouldn't come up. But as it is, at least as of S2E3, I find her more unappealing than ever.

didnt read the spoilers because i am not very far into it. But it isn't necesarily that she isn't "pretty enough", but when you combo that with no personality....it is kind of a stretch.
Sure, she isn't a complete asshole like some characters.
But there is nothing about her looks/attitude/personality that says, "let me risk my own freedom so that i can be with this woman". Hell, you could put Tastee in that role and I would find it more believable. At least she seems fun.
Kind of, but that character is really annoying so doesn't surprise me when she gets yelled at.

Lorna is even sadder than I thought.

The finale of this show was everything. The show was doing snowball effect in slow motion and when the last 4 episodes came in they went back to full speed and showed the full wreckage.
The acting was on point for most of the cast, the development at times felt slow but it had good enough payoffs with later episodes. Also the finale was fucking amazing.
Rosa stole the show with that ending and good riddance to that bitch Vee

It was good and I don't feel like it was inferior or superior to the first season, pretty much on par. However, the show lost any central focus.
But besides that I don't have any complaints or they still haven't developed yet.

It's supposed to be a story about Piper but she could of not shown up the entire season and all the plot points would of ended up the same.

Watched the first two episodes last night, glad this show is back. I'll probably watch another one or two tonight.
