Watching now. First episode. Damn the Piper girl is a horrible actress. The crying scene a few minutes in. My god that was cringe worthy highschool drama club shit.

I'm really enjoying these flashbacks.
OmG Episode 9
Voss pissed me off after episode 1, but the show loses something without her dynamic. Lack of Porn-Stache also hurts. All in all the season lacks bite, or at least a clear antagonist. Though V poses a quiet threat.

Starting episode 1!
Up to episode 4 and it looks to be more of the same, if you dislike Piper chances are things are not going to change, if you liked the ensemble cast they seem to be much more prominent which is good and the format is kind of the same which I like, an episode devoted to a characters backstory.
just finished episode 2, pretty entertaining so far, I feel like all the characters have a level of depth/backstory that is uncommon for a lot of shows.

My gripe is that it isn't until episode 10 that things begin rolling. From episode 2 - 9 it's shades of season one, with plenty of back story but no progression. The story moves so slowly. It isn't until episode 10 that the story feels like it moves forward.
I guess I'm spoiled by shows like Hannibal, where every episode feels like its own personal megaton.
I'll wait until 13 to decide how I feel about pacing. As for now, bah.

Loved the first episode, agreed on the part getting slammed due to the acting but other than that it was very solid and I think Taylor is good overall. However I think I'm the only person watching this show that likes Piper lol, I don't think she's stupid, just emotionally beat out of shape but she's the poster child for trying to do the right thing for her but always making the wrong choices.

Generally speaking the actress is fine, the character in itself is kinda purposely terrible, she has to be to move the story forward, its just that sometimes things get very grating with her stupidity, its forced, its "Well, Piper is going to fuck herself again, she never learns". The thing in the First episode was just strangely terrible, maybe you cant blame the actress? Unless every take was horrible its likely she was told how to do it and had to do it to spec.

Yeah. It was one of those forced monologues without any cutting that are sometimes awkward and put a lot of spotlight on the actor/actress. Other than that I really liked it.
