Clever trick

when its orthodox vs southpaw, feet get tied up and stepped on, it happens. watch the fight and you can see Pacquio stepped on JMMs feet as well. doesn't make either of them dirty fighters, its just bound to happen over the course of that many rounds and exchanges.

Love how Manny apologist buzzybusboy ignores the words of Sugar Ray, Andre Ward, Andrew Dirrell, Marvin Hagler, Paulie Malinaggi, Bernard Hopkins, and Joe Calzaghe, and say it's only Mexican fighters saying Marquez won.

If Compubox numbers (which are amusingly taken as fact and incorruptible for some reason) tell the tale, why did JMM lose the second fight, when landed more punches?

Fact is, JMM can't get a decision over Manny. Manny has Bob Arum's entire network behind him, unless JMM stopped him, or knocked him down 3-4 times and won almost every other round, he would get jobbed.

And why does Manny want to fight JMM a fourth time? Because, like he and Freddie Roach knew late in the fight, he lost the third fight. Manny knows he has never truly beaten JMM yet.

Because he got knocked down?

Not a trick its old news and happens in many "southpaw vs orthodox" fighters. Feet always get stepped on when one fighter tries to keep his foot outside and the other attacks.

Watch a little more boxing and you'll find that this is nothing but something dreamed up by a Pacquiao fan looking for an ahh ha moment.
pretty much this, although the 12th round one looks weird

although wouldn't stepping on a person's foot be bad for both parties? person who has their foot stepped on has limited movement, and person doing the stepping doesn't have his foot leveled.

depends on the reach

Well this thread got real stupid, almost Pac Land forum level.

I can't believe they're taking about a fourth fight, what's the point? Unless Marquez gets offered fifty - fifty he should tell them to stick it.

Here's a video of Pac stepping on Marquez foot also just a counter argument that someone made from the same fight.
