Good games tonight both in comp and QP. I'm feeling a lot more confident in my Winston heading into season 5. I think with all the big games I was looking forward to already released and nothing on the horizon until fall, I think season 5 is going to be my push to finally get Diamond. I will be bringing Soldier, Tracer, Winston, D.Va, Reinhardt, and Lucio to the comp table, with Zarya, Roadhog, Orisa, and Ana as backups.
Down about 200 already tonight :/
Keep getting paired with 3 stacks that don't seem to know where the point is on offense or defense. On Gibraltar defense 4 of them standing on the balcony and letting them take the payload all the way down the ramp and up the other side uncontested even though we got it just past the top of the ramp.
Also a Symmetra on Nepal that screamed at the top of their lungs because they got a double kill and then did little else except give the other team obvious teleporters to kill.

I know the feeling. I had an attack Genji change to defence Sym in a game I was in on Anubis, they held their ult all game and after most of us had been wiped trying to defend point B, we hear the TP go down, we rush through it ready to fight and then realised that we were outside the attackers original spawn. The Sym player then starts to spam "Thanks!" over and over as the other team cap B and win.
I love Overwatch but I really do hate a lot of the people that play the game. Its very hard to enjoy the game when you meet toxic players a lot during the day. Stuff like that isn't a rare occurrence, unfortunately.

She, along with Widowmaker, McCree, and Hanzo are desparate for a new Legendary skin or two, which is why I'm happy that Widow and McCree got two excellent skins during the uprising event and hope to see more.
If anything, Reinhardt and Tracer need a break from receiving skins.

That honestly doesn't sound like a bad thing, given that Hanzo and Genji were one and the same. At least Cyborg Hanzo makes a lot more sense than....Whatever the other skins are (thematically).

lol I don't mind at all, I actually think we should speak more, makes the game much more lively. Though whenever I see a video where I'm talking I always mute it because I don't like hearing myself sounding like an angry russian.
There was a lot of people playing today, we usually don't a have a 6-stack at these hours.

I think as long as it's a character that I play somewhat often, I believe the winner of my next golden gun will go to tomorrow's best skin.
Assuming there are no new comp point rewards announced. Which seems unlikely since Jeff said he regrets golden guns already.

But that's the conundrum. Once you get the golden weapons that you want for your favourite hero, there really isn't any other incentive to continue playing competitive. Granted, I would hate to have competitive-locked skins and emotes and the like, but they should have a special top 500 reward, then another for GM, Masters, and Diamond. If anything, just give them coins if you don't want to do anything complex.
You know, Diamond+ gives 1000 coins. Masters 2000. GM 3000. Top 500 4000. And then perhaps they can get some other custom goodies on top of that if Blizzard wants to. I think that's a great idea to keep people out of comp who don't want to be there because I'm getting sick of the hecklers, smurfs and "de-ranking" accounts who just play whatever and don't try, all because they don't give a damn.
But then you get what Kaplan is already regretting: people in comp who are just in it for rewards other than the more serious and competetive games themselves.
My GM friend is buying McCree's golden gun when the season is over, I'm trying to convince him instead to buy Symmetra's but to no avail. I've offered lootboxes and money (which can be used for more than lootboxes, but don't let anyone know that) and he's still decided.
