Yeah they are still working on the ranked mode I think. They didn't like the previous version of it that they had. Probably will be out in a month or so, but knowing Blizzard who knows.

Hoping this franchise is popular enough to warrant a feature length film or a spinoff campaign game.

Personally, I'm having a blast with it. Feels so damn good on PC (especially with Gsync and 165hz monitor), and I normally play shooters on console.

Yeah, i'd love to play a real campaign in addition to the great multiplayer...i played this yesterday for a while, and its extremely fun and solid and the art style in general for all the characters is almost like a fusion of anime and western cartoon CG

You should like go outside or something. Posting on an ehtusiast forum about how much you don't know about a game comes off as attention-grabby. You could learn about the game by clicking an Ad on the PS4 (I'm pretty sure theres at least one Overwatch ad there) instead of waiting for a reply about it.

Overwatch is a 6v6 online only first person shooter in the same vein as Team Fortress 2. 21 heroes. Four game modes across a variety of maps, free-post launch content and is pretty big in the porn scene.

You should take your own advice, as not everyone is glued to their monitors at all hours of the day keeping themselves aware of gaming news. The beta that ran a few weeks ago was essentially the exact product we have today. They made some balance changes and added the microtransactions is all. People have had a ton of time with it already.

Really? Because TF2 achieves a similar effect through its weapon customization system. They're different but the two systems achieve similar gameplay.

Right, but vanilla TF2 operated around the idea of having multiple classes that could do different things but weren't completely locked into a certain playstyle, and it was a asymmetrical relationship (ala no CTF in TF2 just like in OW). OW takes this great concept and makes it better with abilities that feel good for the characters.

No, nobody talks at all actually which is a problem itself. You can learn at your own pace and get into ranked mode, when they release it, for more serious gameplay when you feel ready.

This is the game to get into fps imo.

If you don't know how many heroes the game has you probably also aren't aware that it was playable in its final state for quite some time

Nobody really talks. I actually had one jerk in a game last night that would just taunt my team (we were doing pretty poorly), and it got to the point where one of his own teammates told him to shut the fuck up and quit bragging like an asshole. I lol'd.
