CJ's drunk. BoS is a neat game, but mostly side stories. The continuation is pretty short and incredibly miserable.
Er... No? She's vile and a moron.
Was going to say of anyone that actually deserves the fate given to them, it was her. What a monster.
At any rate, thinking more about it, another thing that really bothered me is how underused most of the cast is.
The teacher, the creepy guy taking the pictures. I mean, their ultimate fates were interesting I guess, but just really really underused. Let's take the teacher for example. What's the difference if she dies under the cabinet in like chapter two or not? Not a damn thing. It's almost like the game knew that they were just going to keep them there forever so they didn't want you to get too attached to them emotionally. Too bad for Seiko that that also wasn't the case. Really makes that scene in the bath with her brother ALL the better knowing he's going to be alone from now on. Yay.
Honestly, it kind of reminded me of Lost, which also drove me off the deep end. All those plot points, all that potential, kind of leading to a fat lot of nothing. It's even weirder how some of the bad ends or bad end routes actually have interesting things that happen with the characters that can STILL happen in the normal ending, but it chooses not to for seemingly no reason.
