Uh, the Mother EQ schedule for this week is terrible. I refuse to be up before 7AM to do it. Hopefully I can get the remaining 3 swords (1 of them requires only one run).
Downloading the game now. Decided to no longer wait for them to localize this. Aside from initial set up, is there an option to play this in English on PS4?
If you post ニーア発売おめでとう in the chat before March 1st you can get this too.
There's no way to get it on an English iPhone without jailbreaking right? It'd be nice to be able to buy AC without having to use Bluestacks.I just realized that iAC purchased in the iOS version of PSO2es is now treated as regular AC. After some googling it turns out that this happened somewhere in the middle of 2015.
Just a heads up for people like me who didn't get the memo.
I think all you have to do is to make a Japanese iTunes account? Not sure. There's no way to get it on an English iPhone without jailbreaking right? It'd be nice to be able to buy AC without having to use Bluestacks.
Downloading this now. Still have some codes from the packaged version i picked up in Japan . Im guessing these unlock on my account and can be used on both the ps4 and pc versions?

They can expire??
Edit: No date included so I guess its fine. Got the episode 3 pack.
I was reading this thread and it seems that as long as I can enter the SEA website then I can create an account and log in to play?
Is it really that easy?
I even know where to buy Webmoney to spend in the game if I feel like doing so.
I thought you couldn't play the game at all unless you were connected from a Japanese IP.
According to Bumped, Sega have changed the punishment of their upcoming EQ quitting penalty and hopefully the Japanese players don't like it and make a fuss that leads Sega to change it because it's incredibly harsh.
Previously if you were the first person to quit a full 12/12 EQ they were going to punish you by not letting you join any other rooms of that EQ for the rest of that half hour. Now they are going to count how many times you quit and if you hit an unspecified amount in an unspecified time they are straight up going to ban your account. Because there's no way of knowing if someone has just reset their router to leave a party, any errors that cause you to disconnect will also add to this count.
Obviously how bad this is depends on the count and time period they are judging by (which Sega are unlikely to ever say because then people would just quit until they are 1 away from the limit), but if you're someone with shit internet like me that is normally fine but will sometimes just disconnect for a minute or two this is pretty frightening.
Still no details about the number of times you have to quit to be caught/the exact period of time, but at least they acknowledge bugs/disconnects.Starting March 22nd, any account repeatedly engaging in the activity below may be subject to temporary or permanent suspension. This suspension will only apply if the account violated the activity a certain number of times over a certain period.
Violation Activity
Being the first to abandon an emergency quest after starting the quest with 12 players.
Targeted Quests
Certain Emergency Quests which are highly difficult and have a limited number of runs.
Players can also be caught in violation of the statement above, even from disconnections or game client terminations. They may, however, be excused from hitting a violation, if there was confirmation of a bug that has impeded their progression through the quest. Once the bug has been corrected, the policy will be enforced for the affected Emergency Quest.
There are quite a lot of things which can be a turnoff to "serious" players - completely random matching without ranked games for premade parties, really weird balance of weapons (seriously, swords are way too strong) and so so rewards.Yeah, I found it surprisingly fun as well, but other people that I know of kinda dislike it.
Been doing it a bit each day and haven't seen any.I streamed about an hour of pvp today, if someone's interested the archive is here.
Luckily I won more game than I lost, so it didn't go as bad as I expected!

Also after 20+ or so games, I haven't seen the upgrade +1 item in the scratch, but I guess it's supposed to be very rare.
24m isn't half bad if you're rich (I'm not...) - definitely much better than having to do 4-5 runs of an EQ for one weapon when you need 6(?) for 35...Been doing it a bit each day and haven't seen any.
I guess they're worth 24m+ (current price) in player shops for a reason.
If they stay at this price, if I find one, I think I'll just try to sell it instead of keeping it. <-<;
Getting to the level cap is sadly the easiest part - leveling 24(?) more times at 75 to finish all skill point quests is a big timesink and getting a +35 13 star weapon is even worse...I need to get to level cap first.
I stopped playing sometime during Episode 4 and ground up my way to Braver 57 using bonus keys, EQs and the huge reserve of 100% Triboosts I had kept in my storage for a rainy day. I also had an unused 30 day premium pass in there from when I picked up the Ep4 deluxe pack in Japan last April.
Using es to buy some AC, getting one if the Nier hairdos and selling it for 19m also helped a lot to getting my first 12star weapon.
Oh, I meant that those are the requirements for unlocking level 80, but yeah, for the time being, lv 75 should be more then enough. Especially since story quests scale with level anyway - I used to do them on my low level classes with high end-ish equipment, because some boss battles have been really hard on 75.Just one 75 would be nice at this point. Kinda interested to see what Ep5 brings.
Here's the description of the pvp mode.Woah wait, they added PvP!? Anyone have any gameplay? Would love to see it in action
I'd be happy with it if it wasn't for the dumb class excube requirement. To resurrect this thread a bit - anyone else excited for the level cap being raised to 80 today?
I know that it doesn't really matter and so far there's no content requiring the new level, but for some reason I'm happy to have a higher number next to my character name.
I wish it was a character wide unlock, like with all the previous level limits.I'd be happy with it if it wasn't for the dumb class excube requirement.
I've already hit the level 80 requirements on my main and sub class for one of my characters but haven't for my other character because it's such a pain to do it for your sub class.
They should make it so that once you hit level 75 on your sub class it starts gaining exp again, so you can still make progress on getting the excubes without having to main it.

According to swiki, 9.8m exp is needed from 79 to 80, a total of 43.35m exp from 75 to 80, that's slightly more than all the class cubes COs together...So I hit lv 76.
The good: you get skill points for levels 76-80.
The bad: you need over 8 million xp for lv 77...
Granted I don't do the featured quests every day, but when I do I very rarely get a key and if I do it's pretty much always a silver Magatsu one.Just do recommended quests every day and cash in on those gold keys.
Oh, so 75 to 76 also required much more experience points than one excube? It's funny, because I had over 150 leftover 15k exp tickets and I used them all + did the new VR EQ before looking at "experience left", so I totally missed it.According to swiki, 9.8m exp is needed from 79 to 80, a total of 43.35m exp from 75 to 80, that's slightly more than all the class cubes COs together...

I don't mind it when it comes to leveling up a main class, but, ugh, leveling up subclasses is gonna be really annoying.
Probably gonna do that solely through bonus quests.
You guys don't know how lucky y'all are. I'd love to play this game on my PS4.
No English patch, I assume? What's stopping you?
No English patch, I assume?
Still, the game doesn't have a region lock of any kind, so other than the language barrier, anyone can play and enjoy PSO2 on the PS4/Vita.
