Honestly this. You can prerecord 4K footage and cut in Live commentary in between. Everyone wins, we see actual gameplay and they can talk our ears off.

If you watched that event live, you might have thought they were showing PS3 games. It wasn't until after the event when you could watch it all at 4K that you could even tell it was a new generation.

Also their audience isnt necessarily world wide so I think they stream in 4K and show actual gameplay.

Im wondering if they are busy throwing together clips of games that wont be out for 3 years for more content. Like Sony did with that 2014 pr 2015 show. Showing FF7R that we just got.

I hope they take notes from the PS5 reveal. Gaming is an entertainment platform rather than a purely business presentation, therefore I think extravagance/flair is warranted in gaming presentations.

I didn't think it was a big deal.... till i decided to tune in while at work with volume. I was thinking "wtf is wrong with this shit" lol.

I don't care for any interviews. Just want a straight hour at minimum of games (hopefully mostly gameplay).

I think it depends on the servers you're streaming from. I heard of similar issues with people with much better internet than mine, but was streaming it in 1080p all the time. I think that's how youtube works?

I don't think you have to be a fanboy to enjoy Sonys PS5 reveal. I'll admit that there were some things that I wanted in that event however what they showed satisfied me.

And nothing wrong with that. There were actually more games that excited me from Microsofts much maligned third party showing (Bright Future, Scorn, The Medium, Vampire Bloodlines 2, and a couple of others).
