I literally saw people saying this thing isn't even as good as the base PS5 because of the internal resolutions they were seeing without realizing it would be upscaled by PSSR.

By far the most substantial uprgrade playing to the machine's strengths appears to be F1 2024. If there isn't any quirks, it truly sets the bar. And I agree with Insomniac, PSSR sharpening pass seems a bit superfluous, even detrimental to image quality/stability currently. The algorithm has a good enough resolve in itself. Best iQ seems to be HFW which doesn't use PSSR but a custom (retrofitted) "future" solution apparently.

With Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, the same developer took a different tack: if you look closely, there are actually fewer spectators in the stands in the PS5 Pro’s “Performance Pro” mode compared to the vanilla PS5’s “Fidelity” mode.

Almost done with DF video, Oliver seems like he is completely shocked at how PSSR manage to resolve details better than Native res! Also the way it handled confetti in R&C with no distortion or breakup.

Yeah, I was just about to say.....I don't think PayPal is an option on PS Direct. But you were right about the charge at shipping.
