So good news is my friend who let me borrow his ps4 yesterday, and had to take it back, will give it back to me this evening, as he just needed it for an office party. So I'll get another shot at it.
Hopefully I can figure out what's causing this drift issue, gonna try taping down the camera to prevent any slight drift/movement causes by he thick wire. If that doesn't work, also going to turn off the lights completely (had a set on off to the side, off camera, no reflective surfaces behind me), or try to sit closer.
Also, even right now when a dev mentions something about their game having Pro VR enhancements, it honestly ends up seeming like like devs have been told to generally avoid giving details regarding Pro enhancements. But still, it could very well be that they are still working on those enhancements even as we speak, hence don't want to make certain promises just yet.
A dev on gaf once mentioned that aside from the obvious increase in power for the GPU+CPU, available RAM/speed, there's something else about the Pro that benefits VR. Really curious about what that could be and just what kind of benefits will it bring.

Yeah, same here. But can't blame them. They don't want to repeatedly say just what kind of an experience you'll be missing if you don't have the Pro. They want the standard PS4 owners to feel good about how VR is on their system. I'm guessing we won't start hearing that much about VR Pro enhancements until about a week or so before the Pro launch. By that time, there willl be a few weeks worth of good word of mouth for VR on the standard PS4.I wish they were less vague about improvements Pro will bring to PSVR
