Sorry for a bit of off topic but i got a question about shield and couldnt find the topic about that game

I got a copy of Pokemon Shield (brought in Portugal , my country) but my switch account region is US (because of better prices).

My doubt and question is : can i buy the expansions in the eshop being US region and work on my portugal physical copy of pokemon shield?
