Bunch of gatekeepers in this thread. Dudes think they are so smart they should start a thinktank. Hivemind with Hillary as their queen bee.

You're gonna be bummed when bobby jindal takes office in an electoral landslide amid The Great Economic Collapse of 2016I am a proud gatekeeper of Hillary. She is my queen bee and she can be yours too my friend once she takes over Bernie's or he surrenders his kingdom to her.

The polls don't stop sanders supporters do they
Eh. I don't think we're "excited" so much as we are merely expecting them but knowing in the back of our minds they're essentially meaningless, especially as the GOP clown car isn't even off the highway ramp yet.PoliGAF 2015 |OT| We may not be excited for the candidate, but we are excited for the poll numbers
I'm a gatekeeper of probability. And she's currently our best shot, by a pretty significant margin.I am a proud gatekeeper of Hillary. She is my queen bee and she can be yours too my friend once she takes over Bernie's or he surrenders his kingdom to her.
Let's keep it simple:
PoliGAF 2015 |OT| Pure Applesauce
Haha, that's a bit creative.How about..
PoliGAF 2015 |OT| Argle-Bargle, Bitches!
I'm happy with a Scalia jab either way, hehe..Haha, that's a bit creative.
I think Pure Applesauce is great because it's a direct jab at Scalia and it's just funny to read. We are indeed part of the "Pure Applesauce" that, for the most part, supported the argument the SCOTUS upheld.
Yeah. Plus he has basically diminished himself to Internet forum troll/humor status if his latest dissents are to be taken into account, so the thread title would be all the more apt.I'm happy with a Scalia jab either way, hehe..
He has stood on his principles all his life. What does Bernie support that hillary doesn't? What are the substantive police differences, especially 2015 on that distinguish the two?

Meanwhile wasnt hillary a goldwater girl in 64
I thought Bobby Jindal was losing to "not sure/ undecided".
I was just havin a giggle m8That doesn't answer the question (unless my sarcasm detector is broken)
edit: it probably is. I've had a long day...

I mean its just frighting how its the same exact kinda of fox news (neo-liberal) type rhetoric coming from supposed left-leaning folk that's disconcerting
PoliGAF 2015 |OT| Theyre bringing drugs. Theyre bringing crime. Theyre rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
Slight modification:
PoliGAF 2015 |OT| We're bringing drugs. We're bringing crime. We're Hillary supporters. And some of us, I assume, are good people.
Probably too many characters.
This helps a little:
PoliGAF 2015 |OT| We're bring drugs. We're bringing crime. We're Democrats. And some of us, I assume, are good people.
Not all of us are democrats tho
What does Bernie support that hillary doesn't? What are the substantive police differences, especially 2015 on that distinguish the two?
Yeah don't get me wrong, I'm voting for Bernie myself and if I thought he had a chance at beating Hillary and the Republicans I would be ecstatic. But for now I just can't see it.
Actually, I would only vote for Bernie knowing he has no chance to secure the nomination. Much as I like him and would like to see him get enough support to actually influence the Dems' positioning, I'd be too concerned about his chances in the general to consider voting for him if he actually had a chance to beat Hillary.
Besides, I actually think Hillary would probably get slightly more done (a marginal difference, as both look to be equally gridlocked. But in that situation, a shrewd, cagey and experienced pol might even be preferable to a tell-it-like-it-is idealist).
Point is moot anyway, as I'm not American. I do think PoliGaf in general should be more like "Wow, Bernie is actually running, generating interest and Hillary has actually already agreed with a couple of his policy positions, which would have been considered fringe-left as little as eight years ago!", and less like "Some dupes actually think he has a chance? Lol, read some polls pls".
Honestly, we all started off saying the first one. I'm glad he's there to push her to the left, but at some point it gets tiring to have to explain how he knows he has no chance to beat Hillary and is just trying to shift the national conversation, and Hillary, more to the left. Also it doesn't help that a lot of his more ardent supporters are acting like Ron Paul's, which got really old, really fast and no one wants to deal with that again.
