Do we have any reporting on Dade's numbers?

YES!

About at historical levels in MDC, probably.

@MarcACaputo
As of 5 pm, Miami Dade County reports 949k voters total. That's almost 69% turnout on 1.383m voters. Looking like a 70% t/o total 1/2

@MarcACaputo
If Miami-Dade has 70% t/o, it's about historic avg & it'll likely be BELOW statewide average. Better (but not great) news for Trump

You misunderstand.

Politically engaged people, especially conservatively politically engaged people skew older.

Take a look at fox news' demographics sometime. Tons of listeners, median age up in the 60s somewhere. That's who the typical rush listener was.

If your parents are in their 50s, they're likely on the upper end of Gen X. That generation leans D not R, though not by as much as millenials.

No, no, I do understand. I understand the demographics are slipping away from people like them. Their time is pretty much at a close.

I just think they might have one more surprise in them. Hopefully not this election.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage

Isn't this actually bad because it's lower than normal?

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
I caught a little of Rush earlier today and he had the exact same talking point from 2012 about how its hard to beat Santa in an election. Then he got all wistful about 1980 and how fucked over people were when they were unemployed since there was no safety net at all.

There's still time before polls close, so we could see that last % tick up. Plus, it's lower than statewide average due to record turnout in other places, notably many lean D counties.

Proof exit polls are garbage

Kind of disappointing Dade's numbers haven't jumped up.

Hopefully it's conservative Cubans just not turning out because of Trump.

You can only work with the registered voters you have. We know from following that information that there was no increase in GOP registration that would allow Trump to pull an upset.

Why do they ask those awful questions? It is making assumptions which doesn't help in the least. Of course a lot of people are going to want change, it is why they go out to vote for a new candidate when the incumbent isn't running.
