Fun, fun, fun, fun, looking forward to the weekend
What gives you reason to believe coddling white people and throwing "education" at them will create a tidal wave of good allies? Because it hasn't over the course of our history of, you know, owning human beings and oppressing societies of weaker military stature.Uplifting one group while deriding the other.
If you want solidarity, encourage white people to be good allies for people of color instead of calling them pieces of shit.
You racist.Fun, fun, fun, fun, looking forward to the weekend
On the one hand the Cruz strategy is to try and steal the nomination from Trump. On the other hand, Trump getting the nomination would make Nate Silver look bad, so the media should really report it in a way that's favorable to Cruz.

Certainly a segment of white folks can be gently nurtured into good allies (they're liable to be the same folks who aren't mortally offended at satire and criticism of the white-dominated system). The rest, though? You're getting off on being righteous if you think coddling their egos and paying them lip service will get results. They have to be dragged into the future, screaming.
Is there allure of being a pundit that strong?
I really don't get Nate this cycle.
"Eventually"Well, the one's that won't coalesce will be phased out eventually, while societal norms will be recalibrated by properly educating our youth.
I'm not a fan of negative reinforcement unless it's absolutely necessary, and at this point, I don't think ridiculing all white people is the answer to showing solidarity.

The bywords of every prolonged justice my forebears committed.

Everyone was calling him a prophet after 2012 and he started believing them. It's like being totally wrong about Trump early on has killed his confidence.
Everyone was calling him a prophet after 2012 and he started believing them.
The idea that he was right because he's Nate Silver and not because of the math.

Yeah, her anti-vaxxing ass is never getting my vote. She can ride that coattail all the way out the door for all I care.
Nate will go back to the old Nate come general election when all he will have are the numbers.
but first he is going to be swallowing his pride in an article titled "How wrong I was about Trump" with a subtitle " a year ago I predicted a Trump demise based off of the six stages of doom. Why that didn't happen."
125K voters disappear as the empire strikes back in the Empire state. Together we'll keep the rebellion alive. #NYPrimary #ImWithJill
Hillary has a very consistent record & it's not been favorable to women, children, the cause of peace, justice or a sustainable climate.
Just because Hillary has two X chromosomes doesn't mean she is part of the change we need. You have an alternative. #ImWithJill
Let's remember that the US guaranteed that NATO would not move 1 inch to the east of Germany when we allowed German reunification #DemDebate
Quadafi's demise? You mean his savage murder, Hillary. #DemDebate
How are you helping stop climate change by taking millions from fossil fuel companies, @HillaryClinton? #DemDebate
*Millions* of dollars in contributions are not a small, trivial amount. #DemDebate
We need to declare a state of emergency now and ban all new fossil fuel infrastructure and exploration. Now. #DemDebate
Democratic Party uses fear to keep voters making excuses for it and trying to justify its actions. Time to leave that abusive relationship.
I support nationalizing & democratizing the Federal Reserve to take control of our economic destiny away from the “too-big-to-fail” banks.
#HillarySoQualified to fake left but really march right.
Let's #GetJillOnTheBallot to break up the oligarchy:
Is this inaccurate statement because Greens, Jill Stein supports both a BAN and label for GMOs?
Nuclear power plants = weapons of mass destruction waiting to be detonated.
Time to shut them down. #EndNukes
This seems impossible. Last I checked, young Republicans were flocking to Trump. In another couple of decades the Democrats will be taken over by the Jill Stein / Bernie Sanders wing and the Republicans will realign into a moderate center right party and I will switch loyalties.
I offer a resounding second "good".Because a specific race has become the laughingstock and point of derision, which undermines their significance. This is different from merely pointing out variables in statistics.
One of the best arguments for nomination Bernie Sanders is that it would piss off Jill Stein. You'd think she'd be happy at the prospect of the Democratic Party moving to the left, but then you'd have fewer people voting for her as a left-wing protest and the Green Party's chances of getting that federal funding for hitting 5% would be even smaller than they already are.
That is not a good argument at all. I don't care about Jill Stein at all.
So all of us can be rich like Kev?The Fed should just like print a bunch of money and you go line up and collect it every day. Like on the monopoly board. And then nobody would be poor, because everyone would have the same amount of money.
I don't think there are any downsides to this.
It wasn't meant to be taken literally. It was more a statement about what I see as the myopia of the Green Party leadership, i.e., they care so much about getting money for the party that they're willing to undermine their own policy goals to do so.
Yeah. Everyone will have money so there will be no poors. Only the classy and luxurious and we'll all drive space cars that we buy with all our money. So all of us can be rich like Kev?
(Note: Bernie has taken tens of millions in donations from defense contractor employees)
