The wingnuts have jumped all over it for about 10 days. Its super super thin. Obama was not a member of the "new party democrats". They are a group that piggy backs off other parties candidates. They endorsed Obama, Obama didnt seek it, he was a registered dem and ran as a Dem.

actually the sidebar says Obama has a 53% chance of a landslide win now (375+ EV's)

They added a new stat too, McCain has a 0% chance of winning the EV if he loses the popular vote by 3% or more. Obama has a .08% chance. Which means next to no chance, but it is just an example of how the electoral map breaks in his favor. He still has a path to victory when he loses the popular vote by 3% (about 3.6 million votes)
