And I just realized how useless debates are for actual information. Presentation is more important than position, punctual and semi-relevant answers are better than more indepth, but time consuming answers, head to head conflict is expected and, perhaps, even encouraged, etc. Why do I even watch these?

Obama is really failing to get dirty here. How many times has he been called naive or ignorant tonight? Grow some balls, FFS. Call him a relic, attack his memory, do something to combat the impression that you are a pansy.

Hmmm, Obama isn't being aggressive enough. McCain is taking every opportunity to imply that Obaba is naive, that Obama "doesn't understand", and so forth, while Obama is always acknowledging that McCain is "absolutely right".

Pretty much. GAF is only right after the fact. But even then, half of GAF is still wrong after the fact.

I dunno. Bush alienated the rest of the world for 8 years and refused to engage in dialogue. It didn't do us any good.
