Ben Smith linked to this article about the press struggling to describe the "fist pound". Some of them are lololol-tastic.

oh and can someone please put up a link to the live MSNBC feed? I looked ALL OVER MSNBC's site and couldn't find it.
It's not available for streaming all the time, they only make it available during special events. It was up for a few hours yesterday because of the historic event and because the primary season is finally over.

Aha, I see... I thought it was some hidden super sekrit link that only GAF knew or something, lol

Hehe, looks like Hamas withdrew their support of Obama.

http://blogs.reuters.com/trail08/2008/06/04/hamas-unendorses-obama-after-speech-to-pro-israel-lobby/

Hamas does not differentiate between the two presidential candidates, Obama and Mccain, because their policies regarding the Arab-Israel conflict are the same and are hostile to us, therefore we do have no preference and are not wishing for either of them to win,” Zuhri said.

BAM! McCain can't use that argument anymore.

MY FRIENDS...

HAMAS has caught wind of my criticism towards Senator Obama regarding the fact that they endorsed him, so now, in an effort to improve his chances in this upcoming election they have officially dropped their support of them. I say to HAMAS that Real Americans won't fall for such a trick. (waits for applause, forced smile, 50 rapid blinks, faint giggle)

HAMAS didn't help Obama by endorsing him, and they sure as hell won't fool Americans with their calculated ceasing of their support! Barack Obama wants to meet with these people and have discussions. I want to know what Senator Obama wants to discuss with these terrorists!

That's not change we can believe in.

She's dropping out on Friday?

I guess those people who were screaming last night about how she's ripping apart the party look a bit foolish now.

Sen. Hillary Clinton will hold an event with supporters by Friday, likely ending her historic bid for the White House and ceding the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama, ABC News has learned.

Come on guys, this is like the 50th time the pundits have said Hillary's next speech will be her concession.

I think they're just playing us for gullibility now.

No, they were right on the money because that's exactly what she was doing. She made the night about her. She was the "I'm Not Dead Yet" character from Monty Python (figuratively speaking).

ABC News doesn't even provide an unnamed source. I'll believe it when it happens.

Sorry, but no. She refused to congratulate Obama on reaching the delegates required for the nomination and spent her speech putting herself above the winner and the party. She made several moves yesterday to make Obama hostage to her "want". She had a perfect moment to be gracious and she fucked up. Every day that she hasn't conceded is a day that steals the nominee's thunder and keeps the media narrative off Obama vs McCain.

:lol
who gives a shit? He won fair and square and by the rules, that's it. They're supposed to pretend the nomination is still "up for grabs" until competing nominees drop their sore-loser delusions? Fuck that bullshit. And fuck Hillary up her selfish not-gonna-be-president ass. I will do a little dance when Obama annoucnes his VP pick and it's not Hillary.

I'm lying alone with my head on the phone
Thinking of you till it hurts
I know you hurt too but what else can we do
Tormented and torn apart
I wish I could carry your smile and my heart
For times when my life feels so low
It would make me believe what tomorrow could bring
When today doesn't really know, doesn't really know

I 'm all out of love, I'm so lost without you
I know you were right believing for so long
I 'm all out of love, what am I without you
I can't be too late to say that I was so wrong

I want you to come back and carry me home
Away from this long lonely nights
I'm reaching for you, are you feeling it too
Does the feeling seem oh so right
And what would you say if I called on you now
And said that I can't hold on
There's no easy way, it gets harder each day
Please love me or I'll be gone, I'll be gone

I doubt it. Now that the primaries are over and we're all sort of catching our breath (including Hillary, who should be able to take a step back, not immediately concede), the media is mostly speculating on the VP situation. Nobody's thunder has been stolen, the big story of the week has been that Obama is the nominee, not that Clinton didn't drop out.

Now, let me ask you: Would you rather have had Hillary drop out yesterday at the event she was at, or on Friday at a big event, next to Obama, as she announces that she's not only dropping out, but she's also endorsing him?
