Okay, in the half hour it took me to drive home NPR went from reporting that Hillary would concede and endorse Obama on Friday to her "acknowledging his delegates" (which sounds filthy) on Saturday but not dropping out OR endorsing him.

WTF is going on?
It's a fucking roller coaster. She's done this

to me for a second time in the past couple of days. At this point, I won't believe any more concession speculation until I hear her say it in national tv.

Is this really legit now? Like, for real? I can celebrate officially now without worrying about the Clintons rising from the dead yet again?

If so, that is f'n sweet.
Obama wants Bill Clinton to help him, although I coulda sworn MSNBC quoted him saying the opposite, but that's irrelevant. Expect to see Bill make a comeback.

Yeah. I heard Bill Clinton dislikes Obama and could be a problem if Hillary were to become the VP nom.
Wonder why? Obama's the best thing that happened to the party since Clinton and he's old news, perhaps? Hmm

Suspends is just a loophole word that pretty much lets a candidate "concede" without conceding, an allows them to better close off their campaign financially and such. This way they don't have to wait till after they close the books and such before conceding.

Normally (Obviously not in Clinton's case) this lets the winner move on more quickly.

He's probably mad that he's going to lose his honorary position as the first black president.

Plus it doesn't help that Obama has pointed out that the Clinton years weren't as great as people say.

God, Lanny is just a horrible surrogate, no wonder he's not connected to the campaign.

"Countdown had some fascinating insight into what caused Hillary to reach this decision. She was apparently ready to hold the Alamo to the bitter end, but some of her own senior advisors called her Senate supporters and asked them to intervene. As word got out about the impending conference call more and more members of Congress wanted in on it. In the end they told Hillary she HAD to drop out immediately and release them to endorse Obama."

See, for me it's Ed Rendell, which makes Rendell's levelheadedness lately disconcerting 'cause it's hard to hate him as much anymore.
Rendell has drank the kool-aid. He said today he is 100% behind Obama and Obama shouldn't pick Hillary for VP because Bill is out of control.

He is on our team now. He threw Hillary under the bus cause he wants to be VP. Come on welcome the guy in!

As someone from Philly is it surprising that Rendell would abandon hillary so quickly and start publicly giving reasons why she'd be a bad VP like he was a Obama guy from day one? Is this type of attitude common?

Dude is basically BEGGING to be on the VP short list in the media.

Er....what? Rendell shot himself down pretty heavily earlier.

holy shit. howard fineman just said that hillary's most hardline advisors and strategists ("people you would associate with being hardline in favor of hillary") are the ones who gathered the pro-clinton senators to convince them to apply pressure on hillary to drop out.

Part of me thinks the news media is trying to edge Clinton into just going nuts on Saturday and saying she's going to Denver.

This is just going to drive hillaryis44 posters nuts and convince them Hillary is being pushed out and the election is stolen from her.
