Wouldn't they in actuality, though? Isn't Obama losing the white votes?

Plus, I take that as a positive statement from Graham. He's 100% correct.
Oh, I have no real argument with Graham's statement. I'm just adding it to the pre-emptive excuse pile.

Whenever my wife and I brought up the topic of our daughter going to daycare, we were told by someone that we may want to look for alternatives because Obama is going to shut down all day cares.

That's OK, he'll be offering a free FEMA re-education camp for kids that teaches Islamic socialist values.

Seriously, where the fuck do people come up with such crazy?

I could see FL and OH getting held hostage tomorrow night (and not called) with all the antics and hijinks going on in both.

Measley, what is the latest from the ground in the Buckeye State?

Purely anedoctal, but I thInk a lot of people here in central Ohio are expecting an Obama victory. Obama is doing a Jay-z and Springsteen concert near OSU campus, while Romney is doing some country concert near Port Columbus. I would be shocked is Romney gets more attendees than Obama. Central Ohio is very liberal. Highly diverse, high gay population, high level of education, a black mayor in Columbus, and a strong economy.

In Northern Ohio it's pretty solid Obama due to the auto industry up there. Romney's jeep ad pissed off a lot of folks in that region, and I don't see how he wins it.

Romney's best shot is around Cincinatti and the SE corner of the state which is more like WV than Ohio. However, those areas don't have near the population of Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, and Dayton which are all trending very blue.

Again, all of this is pretty anadoctal, so take its you will. I would be shocked if Romney won this state.

Final University of Cinc. Ohio poll

O 50 (48 on 10/31)
R 48.5 (46 on 10/31)

They got the Ohio percentage in 2008 exactly right, considered best the Ohio pollster.

1.5 point difference?

With Husted, looks like Romney's going to carry Ohio.

There's two 'what-if's' I've wondered heavily these last few days. What if Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum had won the primaries? I'm sure we'd be looking at a 1988 style victory for Obama. The House would probably go Democratic due to typical wave style conditions, such as depressed Republican turnout.

And what if Obama had put it away in that first debate? Obama's near death experience that night kept Super PAC money flowing to Romney instead of Senate candidates, so it was good for that. But everything I've read says that night caused Democratic House candidates to drop measurably in their internal polls.

Really?

Hahaha, what was their take?

They were talking about how bad it was, explaining it, and talking to various citizens that were on the scene getting their take. They showed a time lapse of the voting line moving also, it was crazy.

Contrary to popular belief, FOX News doesn't skew everything their way and cover up everything else. It was a pretty decent report and more in depth than I've seen other places.

It's a conspiracy! Obama dropped gas prices just to get re-elected!
Gasoline prices post biggest fall in nearly 4 years: survey

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The average U.S. price for a gallon of regular gasoline took its biggest drop since 2008 in the past two weeks, due to lower crude oil prices, a big price drop in pump prices in California and Hurricane Sandy, according to a widely followed survey released on Sunday.
Gasoline prices averaged $3.5454 per gallon on November 2, down 20.75 cents from October 19 when drivers were paying $3.7529 at the pump, Lundberg said.
The decline was the biggest two-week price drop since the survey recorded a 21.9 cents price decline December 5, 2008 due to a crash in petroleum demand during the global recession.

I keep listening to taylor swifts "we are never ever getting back together." I'd like to think its a song about america's relationship with GOP presidential candidates.

This election needs to be over.

So what's the percentage Obama needs to up by to counteract any disenfranchisement (thrown out votes, etc)? Is it .5%, 1%, or 1.5%? I can't remember. I know it was around and below 2% though.

That's the real damage that Obama's crappy first debate performance wrought. After the Dem convention, they were projected to take over the House. Now, it's no longer the case.

If Obama wins, the real damage the crappy first debate wrought was convincing the RNC that they could win the presidency and blowing all of their SuperPAC funds on Romney instead of the Senate races.
