We won one!!! Botty, Roy, we won one!!!

It's just Fuse but it counts!! Yay us!!!

First FUSE, next
era
, the WORLD.

What a shitty list of songs though. 2012 sucked.

Ever since 2009 it's the odd numbered years that have delivered the slayage. 2009 had Bad Romance and Tik Tok, 2011 had new Brit, Gaga, Bey AND Rih, and next year... well, that'll be the real apocalypse. Gaga's ARTPOP + Bey's 5 + Katy's Middle Aged Dream + Misc. = Your faves are covered.

1991 EP!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

I think Usher - Climax is a very nice choice. Production is flawless. Nothing over the top and a nice balance on both styles.

So I'm not sure how but I managed to miss 'Distance', Kelis' track from earlier in the year?

It + Copy Cat paint rather a promising picture for her next aberm.

Yeah! Distance was supposed to be officially released a long time ago as a single, but was quietly cancelled.. I'm assuming because of the album delay :(

Let me post about 2013 now:

Beyonce Will 'Definitely' Release New Music Before Super Bowl, Says The-Dream

When asked whether or not Beyonce will unveil any new tracks prior to Super Bowl kickoff, The-Dream says, "Definitely. She's got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan."

The-Dream adds that the follow-up to "4" is so far along that multiple song releases are possible in the two months prior to Super Bowl Sunday. "She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out," he says. "I'm sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here."

OMG new Queen Bey material before Super Bowl aka 3 months from now? Which means before that! She better deliver another 4 (quality wise.)

Except that isn't quality. It's best if she goes back to her old sound of B'day or I am... (to a lessor extent).

If Beyonce wants to be relevant to the world again, she better steer clear of that 4 sound.

Should be a good era from her. I really liked the direction she went with on 4, but I have a feeling she'll go somewhere else. Better have at least one Frank-penned track.

4 was her best work by far and I say that as someone who enjoyed her albums before it too. While almost every other artist tried to change their style to the more dance/electro style that's become even more dominating now... she did an amazing throwback album. Loved it.

We can agree to disagree, I found B'Day average and filler-filled while I Am... is a straight up mess.

And yet nobody wants to give Xtina credit for doing this way back in 2006. With a much better album, too.

Is there any unifying theme for the pop era in between 97-02ish and late 07-present (when dance-pop became a thing with stuff like Blackout, Don't Stop The Music/Disturbia, I Kissed A Girl, The Fame, and then that led to EDM seeping in).

And yet nobody wants to give Xtina credit for doing this way back in 2006. With a much better album, too.

Everybody's given her credit sis. That album was more pioneering than its theme led one to believe.

Back To Basics was greater than the sum of its parts, whereas 4 was lesser than the sum of its parts. Back to Basics is a more substantial album, but 4 had better songs.

The Super Bowl is 2 months away...

but where is my ARTPOP news/hype
iwpgRcKR0CfeH.gif

I have a feeling we won't hear any ARTPOP content until around April. It'll most likely get pushed to the summer or early fall. She's obviously way behind schedule.

Listen to this album sis. You'll love it. Its 4-ish too.

Really? O___________________________O

Frank Ocean and Miguel slayed me this year, so my standards have become pretty high tbh

Bruno's debut was pretty forgettable. But I'm going to give this one a spin then...
