screaming at the type of quality
Yesterday, Paulina Rubio found herself on the recieving end of some very angry tweets after she reportedly told an auditioning X Factor contestant, "Not everyone can sing Britney, especially with a microphone."
Britney fans immediately assumed that Rubio was making a dig at her X Factor predecessor's ability to sing live and went on the aggressive.
Rubio, who could've been making a point about the quality of Britney's pop vocals (the breathy, zesty zinginess of it), clarified:

Cash Money's Birdman Says He Didn't Know Paris Hilton 'Could Sing So Well'
Cash Money co-founder Bryan "Birdman" Williams has finally confirmed that Paris Hilton has joined the roster of artists on his label, which is also home to Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake. He's pretty excited about it, too.
"She’s always supported us, and we’ve supported her. It was a friendship first,” Williams told the Los Angeles Times. “She played us music, and I was taken aback. I was impressed by her music, and I didn’t know she could sing so well.”
Birdman also confirmed what Paris has been saying for, oh, a year now: That the heiress' new tunes are very different from those featured on her 2006 debut album Paris. These days, Paris is making club music, with a boost from her producer pal Afrojack. And no, Birdman's not really worried about Paris' many detractors.
"Controversy and all of that, it works for your benefit,” he insisted. “[Her Cash Money deal] being so talked about shows the strength of her popularity. I’m very excited. I’m very appreciative that she’s part of the team. She’s very talented, and a beautiful young woman.”
Bottyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
