Same here, and heck if MS pays them just to be on stage then why the heck not. Kojima probably took home a nice a pay check last E3 and the game still sold poorly on X1. It's free money + I'd rather Sony not waste too much time on third party studios, they don't need that. At the same time, MS should really start building their own identity, rather than just playing second fiddle to everything Sony does so in that sense I could see them not wanting to do that. In the end it doesn't matter, best versions will be on PS4 and it'll sell the majority of it's units on PS4.
Don't be too relieved, I'm sure we'll see AC or Farcry. At least MS got The Division so that won't waste any of Sony's time.

They also made the mistake of advertising 360's version of FFXIII in EEUU, ignoring PS3's.
PS3's sold much better even without advertising and having an smaller install base, the money they lost by not advertising PS3 version is much greater than the money they got from ms imo.
A new Naughty Dog Crash is bigger than LBP and would be just under Mario. There would definitely be hype way beyond the typical platformer.
I do wonder if this is the "giant mindflayer type enemy" that was described in the initial leak. I can't see shit but it's possible the thing also has wings.
Least Farcry will be something new and we have not seen any footage. I do pray they just have a 2 min AC trailer and thats it.

This doesn't look like a PS3 game FromSoft could have done. Just look at Dark Souls 2 on PS3. Graphically Project Beast looks to be few steps above DS2.

Watch your stamina.

The Shrine of Storms and Valley of Defilement are much more difficult than the other three areas for a beginner, so make sure you're prepared before you try them.

To this I'd add always keep your shield up when you're about to enter a place you don't know. I spent most of my first playthrough holding down that button. You're right, death could honestly be just around the corner in that game. I don't think Demon's Souls is a hard game, just an unforgiving one.
Yep, I pretty much kept my shield up all the time.

It is a waste of neither Sony, nor third party partners time. Those games are what sell the most. From a business perspective, few things would make more sense. The PS4 needs to be the next Batman and Destiny console, for that would move a ton of machines. And Sony needs to keep those ties alive and strong, to better negotiate exclusive deals and, why not, exclusives down the road...
