I am convinced that cloak is made from the raw hide/skin of something.

That GIF is the best thing I've seen from FROM which evokes absolute badassery and just oozes style and atmosphere with that amazing looking designed creature in the background .

Are there any solid numbers on how much Demon's Souls and both Dark Souls sold?

Project Beast is really important to Souls fans, but its hard to say if the series has hit the mainstream audience yet. Don't remember any numbers for any entry in the series.
 
OMG those gifs are gorgeous. I really really really hope this game is going to be at e3, I want it so bad.

From said they sold I believe 2.3 Million copies of Dark Souls. Nothing on Dark Souls 2 yet, but I did see excitement around the game when I picked up my collectors edition from Gamestop. A couple of people were all picking the game up when I did, which is way more then were at the first Dark Souls release. Anecdotal evidence sure.

They'd need to buy Sony to get it, the FTC got your back on this one.

Pretty sure Demon's Souls sold over a million in the US word of mouth alone, and I think Dark Souls sold much more. Not a HUGE number, but relative to budget and marketing I think the games were huge moneymakers.
 
Instantly justifies a PS4 purchase for me if it ends up being an exclusive or even just a console exclusive

Also please bring back Blue Blood Sword and/or the Balder Side Sword

It's not a huge huge seller, but it's got a very dedicated fanbase, many of whom will no doubt buy a PS4 just for this game. I'd definitely say it'll be a system seller.

I'd wager a lot of the fanbase was going to own a PS4 anyways. I was leaning towards the Xbone after the price drop announcement, but this being exclusive on PS4 is making me reconsider that instantly.

Would rather not miss out on a Souls game than play Halo and Gears.

Selling over a million units is pretty good for a "niche" franchise.

From is like the last remaining "middlebrow" game developers left. They don't have huge budgets, yet produce games that sell to their market and are able to make a healthy profit.

It's what development used to be before AAA invaded with 40+ million dollar budgets and studios with 120+ people.

I agree with this. If Sony actually markets this right it could sell upwards of 4 million. All Sony has to do is just announce it and the hardcore fanbase will be sold alone.

Put some decent money behind this and release it in a quiet month and you have a legit seller on your hands.
