I think they normally re-Junior people for a reason, usually either making bad threads or insulting other juniors, IIRC.

Why are Sony fans so accepting of trolls? Aren't you all getting fed up of not being able to have a single thread about a PS4 game ruined page after page? Serious question. It doesn't matter what thread it is: Driveclub, The Order or this, the result is always the same. It becomes a mess after about 5 or so pages.

Nonsense. XBO threads contain the same level of shit, including the Horizon thread which now has a Forza 5 e3->retail comparison for no reason. It's just in XBO threads it's usually about the number of Ps, moneyhats, or whether the game is technically first party or not. Best thing to do: ignore them.

Naaa, you're getting me wrong. It's not really about whether it upsets me or anyone else, it's just the fact you have to sometimes wade through troll posts followed by dozens of responses to troll posts. I get so far sometimes and just quit out of the threads. The first few pages are nearly always fun or interesting. These are filled with over-the top enthusiasm or realistic concerns.

The Souls series is going back to its Demons Souls roots of a darker atmosphere and I love it.
I don't really know the word or it, but I really like how there are no flat surfaces with repeating textures, probably the only glaring issue with DS2.
Seems all the walls and floors contain 3D bricks, broken tiles etc. The environment we have seen so far looks so detailed and atmospheric (another thing missing from DS2).

I am still curious if E3 will have this trailer or if we wil se an entirely new thing. I wouldn't be surprised if this is an old trailer, but just seeing the full thing would probably also satisfy me. While I don#t believe it will be released this year a first half of 2015 window would be cool.

From how the game looks in those clips, I'm hoping for a 60fps.
As 3DS & PSP prove, it doesn't necessarily matter if the beginning is rocky, they can still bounce back with games like MGSV, GT7, FFXV, KHIII, RE7, Last Guardian, Project Beast etc. It's not really a shocker that a console with very few Japanese games doesn't sell in Japan. That doesn't mean the console won't start selling once the games ARE there.

I agree with this post - well not the pulling rank thing- , and found being called 'junior' when my opinion didn't mesh with others fairly insulting, and below the standard of this board. That being said, there is an issue of waves of new members seemingly hitting the board at the same time, and 90% of them last 10 minutes, because they behave here as they would on any other site, and that doesn't stand. If someone is referring to annoying juniors and you are still here, then they are not talking about you. Know that, and all is well.
I think early failures have a lot to do with that. It's not like Japanese publishers were totally out of the loop when Xbox 360 & PS3 launched, but when games like Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles, Ridge Racer 7, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey and such fail to sell the kind of numbers that HD projects should sell for them to be profitable enough to continue making them & trying new things, that send a lot of devs to portables and scared them from continuing to make (more than a few) bigger budget console games.
The meeks will be the first! Those who by chance or skill slay proper members shall inherit their tags. Up your shield!

Miyazaki used Berserk as source of inspiration for the majority of Demon's Souls. Then he took a lot from Dungeon and Dragons and Wizardy for Dark. I wonder what'll it be this time?

On topic when some ppl say the graphics arent that impressive I think they arent comparing it to dk or demonsouls but rather to other next gen games from that expected release scenario (1st party late 2014 - fall 2015).
If you put such a game in comparision to order/qb etc it doesnt look that great. But then again different genre and we dont have hq videos etc only leaks so I would wait and watch on that. Still From isn't exactly known for their graphical prowess so I'll wait for ND for the wtfomgzbbq graphics moment
