Its what I am hoping for but that would mean the leaks would have to be pretty old

Usually these games have titles within a year of their release if not earlier

The question is: how long has it been in development really? Dark Souls 2 development started in september 2011, so they did it alongside the patches for the first game and the DLC. From has also been working on Armored Core V and Verdict Day in that time too.
Also, the leaked trailer bits were supposedly meant to be for TGS 2013.

I can't puzzle toghether for how long it was in the works.

Having a "working title" with a 2015 release date... That's where my red flags go off..

When we get the Official Announcement at E3 I fully Expect the actual title to be announced. Its a bit late in the game to not have one.

Project Beast is to ____ what Omaha is to Hardline.

The video that the leaks are from is probably an old, internal thing. What we'll see at E3 will likely be different, and with a final title.
 
Are you telling me that in a thread that warns against port begging, people are making photoshops of this game to the competition such as the xbox, then are making jokes about it being on iOS and then goes into self parody by putting in sega systems and there isn't even joke photoshop of the WiiU?

I dunno; Dark Souls was known under the working title Project Dark for some time after initial announcement.

Edit - also, I doubt this will be out this year, but it would be awesome if it were. My guess is that after Demon's was published in the West and became a pretty big hit, Yoshida/Japan Studio approached From and asked them to make a sequel or spiritual sequel. Miyazaki could not commit as they were already working on Dark Souls, but he signed a contract to develop this game for Sony once Dark Souls had shipped. Thus, development of the inevitable DSII was given to a largely new team while Miyazaki and his key staff set to work on Beast for the PS4, probably in early-mid 2012 (after the DLC was finished, I guess). I'd guess at this point it's had a couple of years development, and it will be ready in 2015.
 
I don't see what's so amazing about this that warrants 6,000 replies. Looks good, but not THAT good... I guess I need to play dark souls.

I guess the huge sucess of the PS4 against the Xbone made a lot of gafers mad. You know, better hardware, better sales, etc. These fanboys have nothing left to be proud. So when they see a thread about anything PS4 related, they grab their guns of madness and jump in to strike.

Yeah, I'm honestly expecting it to drop this holiday. There isn't much reason why it shouldn't.

It would also help make for The Order being delayed, even if it's not the same kind of game.

I am too! Is Sony chance to regain this year hype for PS4 and to make front against Xbox One 2014 games (Sunset Overdrive, Forza H2, and possibly Halo Collection).

I'm also expecting a 2014 drop. Especially if they planned to end the show with this reveal, a 2014 drop would make sense

For reference purposes, "Project Dark" was announced at TGS in September 2010, then named and revealed more fully in February 2011.

That might contraindicate a 2014 release, but it's not totally outside the realm of possibility.

I used to be in the same boat, but for the past 5 months, I can't STOP playing Dark Souls. Favorite game this past gen by far.

The actual clips themselves are entirely unimpressive, but it's definitive proof that the game exists, and that is something to be excited about.

So all the bits we saw were from an old build programmed for TGS 2013?

Can't wait to see how it looks now! Any chance of a live demo instead of a trailer?

Also if this was sony secret megato, i hope they prepeared a new one.
