I mean if you're gonna go that far why not add flames so the ps4 runs faster. Also some hydraulic lifts and make it bounce like a lowrider
That would be awful and hold back the potential.. One platform all the way for this.
I can't see why Sony would do that. They have the core title, exclusive, they're not going to put it on PS3.

This game is THE system seller for the hardoce base. I'm sure as hell it's not crossgen. And the last thing we want are more games held back by older hardware.

Im hopelessly addicted to GAF and seeing this is/was supposed to be a big Sony E3 reveal, I've deflated some of their E3 hype for myself...
I'd like to actually be surprised by a proper Beast (amongst other surprises) reveal - so I'm going on a GAF moratorium until the conferences have ended.
People who choose to read all of the leaks and then complain that there weren't any surprises, should probably consider doing the same ^_^

We all want to see more of this game. An E3 trailer with minutes of footage and a release date and interviews.....I can't wait.

I mean they probably will. It looks like a souls game. Its made by the Souls people and since they helped create the first one I assume Sony own some portion of the IP rights and probably had to give Namco the OK for Dark Souls to happen but I still think they might not have the world Souls in the title and they might try make this its own different thing.

It wouldn't make sense for them to give up the recognition attached to the Souls brand. I'd be surprised if it wasn't named Beast's' Souls or something (pick an apostrophe).

I'm leaning this way as well. They just have to say it's from the creators of the Souls series and that will probably be enough.
Sony does not own "Souls", so no permission was needed. There is no official Souls franchise that contains both Dark and Demon's. Sony owns Demon's Souls. They do not own any part of Dark Souls. The two are effectively different franchises with different ownership even if the style is the same.
Of course we all want to see more, whatever it is, but you shouldn't base your expectations on something that clearly wasn't meant for the public eye. You may be setting yourself up for disappointment, and will only end up blaming the reveal itself if it's not what you want.
Sony owns the "Demon Souls" IP.
From Software owns the "Dark Souls" IP.
So Sony can call their game "Demon Souls" 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. whenever they want.
Same for From Software and the "Dark Souls" IP.
Yeah, another game with a '____ Souls' title would probably dilute the Dark Souls franchise too. Beast seems to be set in a bit more modern, gothic horror-ish world instead of the dark fantasy worlds of Demon's and Dark, so it makes sense to change the title too.
I have to say that Dark Souls II felt a bit too familiar to me, so I hope they differentiate Beast from the other Souls games and bring more new mechanics and ideas that would evoke a sense of inexperience to me like the first time I played Demon's Souls.

I'm thinking it won't be called Souls because From won't want to tread on their own toes. It'll be Shadows of the Beast. Not related to Shadow of the Beast.
I was under the impression From co-owned the Dark Souls IP with Bamco, but on the IPO website it only lists Bamco as the owner. Nonetheless, while Sony could continue to call future instalments Demon'ses Souls's, I think they'll call it something different to create a bit of space between the two series and give Dark Souls some room to breathe, as that's arguably the more important franchise for From.
