I don't care about the media capabilities of the PSP. I want a portable console to play games, not to listen to music of watch videos on a tiny screen. I can do both of these on my cellphone, which is not of the "i" variety. I don't see the point of an iPod touch either.
With that out of the way, the PSP Go looks and sounds more and more like a portable media device that just so happens to play games. Like, Sony's answer to the iPod touch. Specially if you take into consideration that Sony's answer to the "UMD Good-will program" is "meh, we won't do anything".
Which, in turn, just makes me happier that I bought a PSP2000 instead.
That's just silly to me. I don't see it being any more or less a game machine than a PSP Slim. Plus I like using the PSP as a video player as it has a great screen, a large screen for a portable device and it's not going to kill my phone battery which I want to have for you know, phone usage.
