OpenBOR (Beats of Rage) is pretty nifty. And most modules work fine on the PSP.
If you're an Ultima VII fan and still have your discs, you can get U7 Part 1 and U7 Part 2 (plus the expansion pack for each) running on your PSP. Very good stuff.
Stakker is a pretty neat physics-based application.
There are two OK Geometry Wars (Geometry Wars PSP and Polygun Wars) clones out there, but both pale in comparison to the real thing, or Geometry Wars Galaxies for the DS.
I don't think I really have anything else to recommend at the moment, unfortunately.
Actually you don't want to use an ISO because you'll lose all CDDA audio tracks that way(if game has them).Kafel said:I don't know how I did that but ripping my Fighting Force (PSX) gave me .sub, .cue, .img. and .ccd files.

Im BRAND NEW to the CFW scene.
I have OFW 4.05.
It's a fat psp.
I dont have a pandora battery either.
I need to know what I can do.
I know there are ways of doing it w/o buying a pandora battery...Dani said:Buy a pandora and install the pandora stuff on your stick to put CFW on it. Details plentifully available in the OP.
Yes it is one of the options.mr_nothin said:Also, can I revert my battery back to a norm battery after making it pandora?
Ok..kassatsu said:Yes it is one of the options.
Oh I thought you were using the software to do it. I dunno if you can revert if you do that :xmr_nothin said:Ok..
I guess all I have to do is what Dani said.
Make/buy a pandora battery and then follow the instructions.
But if I hardmod the battery to make it a pandora (by cutting the pin) then how can i revert it back to a normal battery?
Is re-soldering the only way of doing that?
How can I softmod the battery?kassatsu said:Oh I thought you were using the software to do it. I dunno if you can revert if you do that :x
You need to have access to someone with custom fw. It is all in the op on how to do it.mr_nothin said:How can I softmod the battery?
Or can I not do that w/o a CFW?
Sorry but I dont see where, in the OP, it tells you how to make a pandora battery or answer whether or not you can revert back to a normal battery or even tell me what a Universal Pandora Memory Stick was.kassatsu said:You need to have access to someone with custom fw. I didnt even know what CFW meant until i checked around a bit.
:/
Seriously, buy the Pandora from either of those places and after that refer to OP how to install CFW with Pandora. It's a breeze.navanman said:A TOOL battery can be purchased from Codejunkies or DealExtreme.
Have you got other plugins? Some plugin have same pops.txt, if so you need to put multi-lines in one pops.txt file.APZonerunner said:Another stupid question from me..
I'm trying to get CWCheat working on my 4.01 M33-2 PSP. Everything's fine and dandy on my actual original PSP titles, but for my PSX games holding select doesn't do anything. I heard there was a problem with memory stick reading speeds, but both my standard UMD and ripped PSP games work this way.. so I'm unsure what's making the PSX ones not work. Does anyone have a solution or any advice?
Mejilan said:No. We're still using the 3.80/3.90 version.
Marty Chinn said:I just encountered a game that required 4.05. Anyone know if there's any talk of releasing a new CFW?
Brannon said:Alright, I give up. Any way I can make a memory stick with Vista and a pure PSP 2.81? I already have a tool battery.

SOLDIER said:Okay, the Pandora battery arrived in the mail today, so I'd like to try this out with my PSP Slim. I've never done this before, though, so I was wondering which of the steps in the OP was the easiest and most recommended to do?
Also, will I have to format my memory card, and thus lose whatever I have saved on there as a result?
B.K. said:Buy.com has a 16 gig memory stick for $120. I'm tempted to get it. I'm going on a trip to Florida with my family this Christmas. That could come in handy. How is the performance? It's a Mark 2 Sony brand MS Pro Duo.
Danj said:I was all ready to go like "nuh-uh, 16 gigs? for that price? gotta be fake" but then I looked it up and there really ARE 16GB MS Pro Duos and they really ARE that sort of price. Holy crap.
