Guess you've never heard of The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, probably one of the top 3 games I've played in a year. Not only that, lots of PSVR games don't show on that search. Nice troll though?

I mean...its really not. We are in a slow time for games and also the soon start for a new gen.

I have a plenty big backlog of psvr games to play plus with Dreams getting PSVR support I'm good.

I won't deny a slump in new games but it is far from dead.

Man, I've been on PSVR nonstop lately. I love it.

All the VR platforms are gaining a ton of traction lately. I hope Half-Life eventually makes it's way to PSVR 2.0.

Astro Bot is in the conversation for Game of the Generation for me.

That's one game that is TBA and might even get cancelled and there's very little else in the pipeline aside from a few hokey unmentionables. The whole platform has boiled down to music pack releases for basically months on end for the existing beat sub-genre.

You're not going to bullshit me because I have it right in front of me and it's not at all what you're making it out to be. There's a few junky new releases then DLC for previously released games, cars for Gran Turismo and so on and so forth. Those are not games released.

Any person with even the slightest bit of intelligence can bring up the "New On PS VR" tab and see it's 95% DLC for long since released titles with a few random junky games mixed it.

See what happens when you filter out "Add-Ons"?

Yeah sorry skippy, but you never gave any kind of limitations in the OP, simply statedPSVR was dead and showed a BS pic to fuel your (obvious to everyone) bias...

Last I checked new levels and characters were a clear showing of support, and even if you take those away you have over 20 new games, over 10 times the so called two you supposedly searched for...

Of course StreetsofBeige StreetsofBeige because that search criteria is the only one that gives his bias any kind of merit

The "Pre-Order Now" thing, you can't even pre-order any of those titles, they don't even have an actual store page with a purchase link.

In regard to the New Content thing once you filter out DLC add-ons you can see the meager game offering.

It sounds more like you WANT PSVR to die, than believing it is dead.

You know what a dead hardware looks like? Stadia. A platform that doesn't get anyone making random threads talking about how dead it is, because we KNOW it is dead.

You want PSVR to die, but making threads to convince the rest of us is having the opposite effect.

You keep moving the goalposts, it's not dead, it's still being supported, AKA not dead, and not by some unknown 3rd party the very game you show us in the OP is being made by Sony...that's literally 1st party support...

Hell the last PSPlay showed 2 new VR titles, and the pre order clearly shows there is still interest...

I never claimed the PSVR was crushing or anything else

It's a niche product that people under 13 cant use

It costs around 250-300

You need a PS4 to play it

It can cause nausea and headaches to those not used to it

And lastly this console generation is nearly over, the buzz is on the PS5 and Series X, likely Sony will be eyeing PSVR 2...if it were dead that wouldn't be the case otherwise where's the Vita 2?

Yes, I want this thing that I really enjoy using and spent hundreds of dollars on to die rather than getting worthwhile experiences and games. So I concocted this fake thread with fake outrage highlighting the fake amount of shit all releases its been getting for months or not getting rather all in the hopes of stirring up controversy on this forum...

Or, the platform has heavily stagnated to the point where it feels like the Vita and I'm bringing that to light.

VR in general is not dead, unless it's something that Sony isn't building on specifically. Cause if you look at the pc side of things, VR is very much alive and thriving. Half life Alyx is going to be there biggest VR game yet. Hardware has to mature first to really be a game changer, and the valve index is proof of that.

You do know that Xbox One X haven't sold over 10% of all the Xbox Ones sold so far & that's all you need to know that it hasn't reached the 5 million sold of the dead PSVR.

People already showed you that PSVR still has games coming out for it so it does have support.

I'm not playing this little game especially when no one has any idea what it's sold, you're goading and that's totally irrelevant and this entire thread is relative to software support.

It has had very limited releases, the releases it has had have been sub-par in terms of quality and there's only one game which is up for pre-order, Iron Man which is 3 months away. Sure there's those 5 other games which are listed on that "Pre-Order" page but only two have supposed release dates, none of them you can actually pre-order and the others are all TBA in terms of a release date.

It's not a compelling proposition for an owner of this product.

Only selling 5 million units on a 100 million base isn't very good. If youre a developer there isn't a big audience to sell PSVR games too. Not many PS players bought it.

X Box ONE X is dead, thats why Series X/NEXT GEN is launching.

I don't think VR will take off on consoles untill its native to the hardware and not an add on. Maybe PS 6 will be all VR. OR I could see Nintendo trying to release another Virtual Boy style VR console sometime in the next decade.

The way VR games are, most gamers who even have it I bet barely play it. That goes for the actual amount of time playing it and how long per session.

I don't see too many VR gamers sitting with a brick strapped to their face for 6 hrs sessions on a weekend like people do playing shooters or RPGs.

So what you get is $10-20 games that resemble a demo more than a full fledged high budget game.

Not many people are going to pay $300-600 for VR goggle gaming because most people know that the content (to them) isn't worth it. Theyve already bought a console or have a PC to start with and adding on another gadget will always be a tough sell.

Now if VR was totally on it's own with no other hardware needed, I can see many gamers gunning straight to VR if they want unique gaming and are tired of the usual sit on the coach or chair shooter or FIFA.

Even though not the same thing, that old Samsung $100 VR Gear thing I think has sold the most units, and it's not even a real VR device. You just shove your phone into it. But since it was only $100, people got the gist of it and bought it. So interest is there as long it's cheap.

But as long as VR is an expensive peripheral handcuffed to hardware, it'll always be low sales and the nature of the experience is short term gameplay.
