What i can say Is that streamers and youtubers don't makes videos of games like in the first year of psvr (at least for What i see in the channels that i follow on YouTube)
And two of those games don't show up in his search yet are out this month. You guys aren't comparing the same thing.
OP is Coming Soon.
Another person is Pre-order Now.
Another person is recently released New content.
My issue is I'm over here starving for content, most stuff in VR is bite sized, 2-3 hours worth of content that you can blow through with ease. Sure there's some stuff like Beat Saber and the like which have a lot of replay value but all said that stuff does wear thin. The way VR games are, most gamers who even have it I bet barely play it. That goes for the actual amount of time playing it and how long per session.
I don't see too many VR gamers sitting with a brick strapped to their face for 6 hrs sessions on a weekend like people do playing shooters or RPGs.
So what you get is $10-20 games that resemble a demo more than a full fledged high budget game.
Not many people are going to pay $300-600 for VR goggle gaming because most people know that the content (to them) isn't worth it. Theyve already bought a console or have a PC to start with and adding on another gadget will always be a tough sell.
Now if VR was totally on it's own with no other hardware needed, I can see many gamers gunning straight to VR if they want unique gaming and are tired of the usual sit on the coach or chair shooter or FIFA.
Even though not the same thing, that old Samsung $100 VR Gear thing I think has sold the most units, and it's not even a real VR device. You just shove your phone into it. But since it was only $100, people got the gist of it and bought it. So interest is there.
But as long as VR is an expensive peripheral handcuffed to hardware, it'll always be low sales and the nature of the experience is short term gameplay.
I'm not playing this little game especially when no one has any idea what it's sold, you're goading and that's totally irrelevant and this entire thread is relative to software support.
It has had very limited releases, the releases it has had have been sub-par in terms of quality and there's only one game which is up for pre-order, Iron Man which is 3 months away. Sure there's those 5 other games which are listed on that "Pre-Order" page but only two have supposed release dates, none of them you can actually pre-order and the others are all TBA in terms of a release date.
It's not a compelling proposition for an owner of this product.
I enjoy mine, I enjoy a lot of the previously released content for it, that doesn't mean it's lighting the world on fire or much at all is happening with the platform. How can you even conflate the two? Also I seem to have noticed you said "the owners I know" which leads me to believe you are not one which begs the question, you're here why?The PSVR owners that I know seem to enjoy it .

Well you can't compartmentalize PSVR and PC VR as if they're the same thing, they're really not. Basically all VR games are made for PC so it's really as simple as building it and releasing it which they are free to do with ease on places such as Steam and so on. For PSVR they have to now port this game, optimize it for a fixed platform, pay for platform licensing, get it certified by Sony and hopefully be able to release. On top of this the game must meet their standards in terms of sexual content, violence, rights association for trademarked software and so on which adds another level of nuisance.Depends on who you follow. I don't know about streamers, but there are several Youtubers who have been following the VR trend since it came back around. Markiplier and Jacksepticeye are examples of VR early adopters that have been singing it's praises for certain genres from the start.
People were able to buy the Wii U and enjoy it even though it was a dead platform. You're not grasping what's being said here. There's a backlog of games some of which are pretty decent and people can enjoy, and that backlog was built up rather quickly. However with that said the quality of games has dropped off sharply, the level of support has dropped off sharply, interest is dropping off from developers, the number of releases is dropping off. All told as a progressive platform it is falling apart as time passes, and it's been happening for a while getting continually worse. How is it dead when people are still buying it & enjoying it ?
There is nothing that you can compare PSVR to & say that it's dead.

Around 30 or so.PS Store is weird, you have to constantly be on the lookout for new releases. Space Channel 5 VR is releasing in two weeks and as you can see it's not even listed.
Out of curiosity how many PSVR games do you have? I'm around 50 and still backlogged on them quite a bit.
I enjoy mine, I enjoy a lot of the previously released content for it, that doesn't mean it's lighting the world on fire or much at all is happening with the platform.
Around 30 or so.
I don't do either, you're totally full of it.You enjoy PlayStation so much you feel the need to constantly bash it and talk about how great Phil Spencer is.
VR has been gaining a ton if traction lately, especially after Half-Life. PSVR is still the most popular headset. Perhaps that will change with Valve, but PSVR is getting ready to get a new headset model. That's not usually how dead platforms go.
Could there be more big games on the platform? Of course. I wish there was. But it isn't dead, like the narrative you are trying to push here with this "Phil was right" BS OP you made.
Iron Man and Dreams both look promising. We will likely need to wait for PS5 and PSVR 2.0 announcements soon to hear what is next in store for PSVR.
I didn't say VR was shit, stop putting words in my mouth and attempting to sum me up. Calm down with the hyperbole turbo.Ok so you have 30 VR games AND you needed to make a "Phil was right", VR is shit thread?
You must be even worse with money than Voost Kain and his $2000 spent on Stadia before declaring it is garbage.
Mitsu agrees, and he explains why:
(Because PSVR2 is coming, baby!)
Around 30 or so.
You seem to be incapable of understanding what I've already explained to you several times. You have 30 something PSVR games in 3 years & you think it's dead?
How?
It sounds more like you WANT PSVR to die, than believing it is dead.
You know what a dead hardware looks like? Stadia.
Proof? I know you have to have numbers before you would make such a claim. Let’s see it.You do know that Xbox One X haven't sold over 10% of all the Xbox Ones sold so far.

As time rattles on less and less developers seem to be dealing with this hassle, and rather just release their PC VR game just as that and call it a day. So VR itself in terms of software growth is healthy on PC, PSVR not so much.
It was either saving the PS3, or save the Vita. Sony couldn't do both. While true, you could also have used Vita as an example. Sony killed that off insanely fast.
I think you meant focusing on PS4?It was either saving the PS3, or save the Vita. Sony couldn't do both.
Let's be real here...

Been like this for what seems like months. Phil was right to not chase this dead end, and Sony is yet again letting one of their peripherals just die without so much as a whimper or trying to do anything with it.

The hell?Proof? I know you have to have numbers before you would make such a claim. Let’s see it.
DynamiteCop! said:I'm not playing this little game especially when no one has any idea what it's sold, you're goading and that's totally irrelevant
Weak bait, no one has any referential point as to what the Xbox One X has sold or not.
Furthermore this has nothing to do with sales which is you trying to distract from the point, this has to do with support.
Oh so you made shit up, hoping they would look Similar? The hell?
Where did I say I had numbers? but if Xbox One X would have released 4 years after Xbox One & made up over 10% of the total sales Microsoft would be screaming it from the roof top.
Oh so you made shit up, hoping they would look Similar?
You can’t say they have only sold 10 percent or less then 5 million unless you can prove it.
You just rendered your opinion useless, by trying to pass it off as fact.
Prove it otherwise. The burden of truth is on you. You made the claim.LOL ok if you think Xbox One X has sold over 10% of Xbox Ones sold

He is utterly hopeless as a Micro$oft shill on this forum.Another crappy concern thread about PS stuff made by Xbox fan
It’s funny that that Is the best defence to the argument. He is utterly hopeless as a Micro$oft shill on this forum.
That's just an observation, not a defense. The correction (so still not a defense) of his stupid shit is in all the comments you choose to ignore while pretending you're smart. You aren't if that's the best you can do.It’s funny that that Is the best defence to the argument.
You guys proved him wrong.

The fuck does any of this have to do with my quoted post, or your post I quoted, or the post you were quoting when I quoted you, or the OP and overall topic of this discussion? What's wrong with you? Don't answer, you're already blocked.I hope you understand how math works.
If the X is really underselling as suggested that means that the S and Sad are over performing.
In order for the sales numbers to work at 10% X Xbox has to be in the 75-80 million range for the other systems.
Not 50. Either he’s wrong or I am, but it’s the only way to get the hardware numbers to match.
