I'm trying to register but under the name (kanji) name (hiragana) part it won't let me put my name in English and then katakana/hiragana like I usually do.

Is there any reason I would get into trouble by just making up a Japanese name and using that? Or will the post office not deliver it to my house if it doesn't have my name?
