I demand you move the prospect of Days Gone remastered up to the "we're so back" category.

LUNAR is the main announcement for me, above everything else, but will probably be on all machines. I gave it a C, pretty weak, and how can we be satisfied with... 1 ! ONE ! 1ST PARTY. This is quite pathetic. Never seen Sony that weak, creatively speaking.

Not interested in the new Ghost. The trailer for MH Wilds was dope but we've seen so many trailers for the game.

Otherwise, some interesting things here and there but nothing groundbreaking at any moment.

F
- Remasters are either whatever or get ruined somehow by invisible modern audience
- I just cant excited about more soulslikes
- all these older games that got update trailers should get banned from these kinds of shows
- 2B now starring in yet another game instead of a new Nier game. Literally dead IP
- Couldnt care less about GoY, I very rarely play OW games

Hell is Us looks great, and I'm actually impressed by the Zero Dawn remaster. Will play those on PC.

Ghost 2 looked great but seeing as they're forcing a female protagonist in today's age of forced feminism I'm waiting for reviews to see how woke it is...I already got burned with Spiderman 2 and its borderline indoctrinating woke antics.

Probably a D.

Absolute A for me. I had a child a few years back and I stopped gaming to be an at home dad and support other studios with projects so pretty much everything on PS5 I really haven't played. Plus I'm getting a pro so this works out perfect for me 🅰️➕

The only new big thing is GOT2 and it is a rehash

I'm more interested in the pirate Yakuza announced previously tbh

Bang average. 90% of games shown could've been blog posts, and didn't deserve the actual developer or whatever coming to speak about it.

Folk who voted it a B or above cause of the new Ghost game will be very disappointed when they find out this is a shorter adventure. It's not a direct sequel to GoT, a new character, in a new setting.. a lot more world building to do, and it releases next year..

If it had a 2026 release date, I'd believe it is a full title.

If it turns out to be a full-title, I'd be very surprised. It's a bit concerning... to just throw away a MC after 1 game in a new IP is a bad move.

Didn't catch it live, but I'm giving it a B.

Why?

- Ghost of Yotei looks 🔥.
- Soul Reaver remaster looks very good.
- Lunar is a series i always wanted to check out.
- Hell is Us looks surprisingly good, so does Archeage Chronicles
- Almost entirely single player games, near zero online bullshit.

I think the PSN leak really fucked this State of Play.

For a half hour showing it wasn't bad at all. Some of it didn't land but a lot more than I expected did.

Horizon remaster looks beautiful. I was laughing my ass off, as I joked it would be a $10 upgrade to spite GAF after years of remake speculation and, well, there it is. I'm excited for that rumored Days Gone remaster if it gets the same treatment for the same price.

Release dates for Dynasty Warriors Origins and Monster Hunter Wilds were welcome. The former looks unexpectedly good and will be my first musou game since the PS2 days. Q1 2025 is starting to look a little packed.

PSVR2 is not dead. I was impressed by the games shown. Metro Awakening looks fantastic as does The Midnight Walk's claymation art style. The Hitman 3 update i've heard mixed things about on Oculus Quest, but it may fare better on PSVR2 as it's working from the better PS5 version as a base.

Palworld releasing on PS5 amid a legal battle with Nintendo was a flex.

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver remasters look really well done. It seems to be the same developers as the excellent Tomb Raider remasters. I am hoping, like TR, that i'll be able to play it in the classic graphics mode since they showed those screen-wipe comparisons.

I just replayed Dino Crisis on PS1 but it joining the Classics catalog is welcome and will please that one nutter on Retardera.

I don't think my dick will be able to handle the Stellar Blade x NieR crossover...

They really should've shown that sizzle reel for the PS5 Pro at its original presentation. Much better than the one they went with. I was already buying one but the list of supported games is growing nicely. I was surprised to see some older games like RE Village on there. I also take it to mean that Metal Gear Solid Delta (aka game of the year 2025) will be 4K 60 on the Pro, which is good news as I have the PS5 deluxe edition pre-ordered.

Ghost of Yotei was a big announcement I don't think people were expecting at this. It's a girlboss protagonist but at least doesn't look ridiculously out of place like a certain other (a)historical Japanese game releasing soon.

Overall not bad or the end of the PS brand or any doom posting nonsense.

Honestly we got Dino Crisis, Legacy of Kain 1, GoT 2, some good VR games, DW Origins update. Solid. Dragon Age brought it down to a B for me.

Of the new announced PS5 Pro enhanced games Jedi Survivor, RE4 and RE8 could potentially run almost maxed + RT at 4K PSSR Quality/Balanced based on their respective performance on PC. That would be awesome.
The hardest would be Jedi Survivor maybe they have to drop to Performance with a mix of High/Medium settings.

C- or D. Ghost of Yotei saved a train wreck and Soul Reaver I&2 remasters is my cup of tea.

Outside that though, Sony's 1st party offering just aren't cutting it. Thanks Jim Ryan and Herman Hulst.

Ghost of Yotai looks like more of the awesome stuff from the first one. Aka: looks great, as expected.

I think Dragon Age looks awesome too. Kinda reminds me of the Fable games. Maybe day 1 on Steam if reviews are good.

And Lunar remastered should be pretty, pretty cool.

Was hoping for reveal of the new Housemarque game, but didn't have much hope for that one.

I gave it a B. Loved the PSVR2 stutf.

Would have given an A if the new Ghost protag was packing. I'm dead serious, and tired of this crap.

I would give it a C. GoT saved it. Archage and Monster Hunter looked very good.

still needed one more big game.

C. I wanted more game announcements. Also for Sony to give me more reasons to go out and grab a pro on launch day.

Rated it an A. Lots of fun surprises. Lunar 1 & 2 was a massive highlight for me. Love those games so seeing them come back on modern consoles is just pure bliss. Then Blood Omen and Dino Crisis gets released out of the blue and if they get trophy support I'll be a happy camper. Would love to platinum a game like Blood Omen. One of my all time favorite games. Soul Reaver remaster is also day 1. Stellar Blade and Nier combo was great too. Hell is Us looked cool and came out of nowhere, will definitely check it out. And of course, Ghost of Yotei looks fucking amazing. Very much enjoyed this SoP. Probably the first one in a couple of years 😂

Super mid IMO. Ghost 2 does shade it up a bit for me, kept it from being worse than a C... and they did have some variety on display, which I don't mind -- VR, some decent remasters, etc.

I am fascinated by these rankings though... I always wonder how many people essentially grade this a D or F, but will turn around and give Nintendo A's for their incredibly boring directs.

Hell is us, took inspiration from kojima games. Beginning of the trailer was meh, but at the end goosebumps.

Hitman VR, really excited about it.

Ghost of Yotai, hope they keep it authentic Japanese.

Midnight Walk, arthouse game pushed the industry. Very interesting.

Lunar remake, looks cool.

Metro VR, finally a vr game that didn't look like it was built by students.

A for me and I wasn't expecting shit. Maybe it's because my expectations were so low.

The $10 upgrade path made the HZD remake a maybe. HFW is still the best looking console game to me so I might see what it do.

Hell is us looked interesting to me. I like the attacks showed and the world looks interesting.

Lunar collection is also a super surprise. I thought the game was super Niche when it originally released and I played part 2. Actually looking for to this.

The Alan wake DLC looked interesting only in it looked to link Control to its world, but I still have no interest in Allen wake outside of that.

Ghost 2 looked so good. The locations look crazy good. I love the art style of the environments. I'm definitely looking for to playing.
