Yeah not too shabby. I wonder why the screenshots look so washed out. I guess the contrast was a bit off when these pics were taken and if corrected the game will look better. Anyway, I had a lot fo fun playing it on the GC and now more people get to try it out for themselves on the PS2. And regardless of whether the game looks as good or not as the GC (will probably boil down to each persons' opinion), the core gameplay will remain the same, which means the game should be just as fun as on the PS2 as it was on the GC IMHO.

Still, nothing extra that the PS2 version could offer would make me want to get it over the GC version.

Not as bad as I thought it would look, but still much inferior to the GameCube version. Textures have taken a huge hit, and there seems to be a lack of lighting effects, especially noticeable on Leon. And the jaggies! And the overall messiness.

I'll wait for videos but this looks considerably worse than the GC version from these screenshots. Colour is all washed out. I hope it looks better in motion and comes with some nice extras.

after playing god of war, i though they might be able to get the PS2 version to look close to the cube version, but these shots look pretty bad... Graphics are such an important part of this game i would recomend buying a cube and playing it on that system if you can afford it and you really want to play the game the right way... it's one of the best games of this gen, if this is what it's gonna look like on the ps2, it's not gonna be the same

Sony really needs to fix their image quality problem that they've had since the ps1. That looks atrocious.
