Yea I've watched it and I found it funny. I know he shit on basically everyone. Was just saying. That said, I wish the world would tolerate comedy more. When I was a kid I would watch standup and laugh when people joked about people like me. It was no big deal. Now if a guy does something weird while not even on stage the world attacks him.

Win-win!

Your ban was recorded by the ex-mods in the logs as ban evasion, but they never mentioned what your alleged other account was. Looking back it was likely a politically motivated ban over what you were posting about Brexit. Either way, you have a clean slate now and will be treated fairly going forward.

There was a lot of rot and abuse of power slipping through back then. No hard feelings about any catharsis you experienced witnessing GAF blow up. Welcome back.

I think most of the people who got banned before the split just lost interest. I was almost one of them, i just lurked in the months before the split and only the promise of a clean start made me come back. No regrets

I was a big fan of Chappelle's latest special, but was kind of shocked at his trans Chinese joke. Not because I was outraged or anything, just that that kind of joke is so below him. I thought about it for a bit and I think he did some shit just to see how much he could get away with, like to a lesser extent the Michael Jackson joke. Upper echelon comedians have realized it's better just to say "fuck you" and double down with crass jokes instead of apologizing all over the place. It's just really sad Patrice O'Neal isn't with us anymore. I'd LOVE to hear his take on so many things going on these days.
