You know what's hilarious? I've been randomly, and permanently banned more than once from resetera with reasons such as "suspicious activity" and "alt account". I was always completely dumb-founded and had no clue what that meant. And when I would reach out to email the mods to get an explanation on what the fuck this even means, I never got a single response. This would not even be connected to ANY specific posts. I followed all the rules, did not enter threads which I thought might get me in trouble, mostly agreed with everyone, but once in a while offered a slightly different perspective on something, or a nuanced opinion.

I only discovered this place AFTER my permanent bans. I never even knew it existed. And now it all makes sense. They were so fucking paranoid that I was some alt account or troll from this place, and that was the entire reason for my bans, even though that was blatantly false. I guess every fucking person there that isn't 100% in line with the accepted opinion on everything is a suspected "alt" from here. It's so fucked up.

Yep. And the ridiculous thing is, even if Biden wins, it’ll only take a matter of weeks for RE to turn on him and Harris anyway. I found after doing a bunch of digging for that thread that charlequin banned hundreds of people on the gaming forum for speaking out against intersectional feminism, Anita Sarkeesian, or any game that was considered Woke. He definitely banned you for criticizing Mass Effect Andromeda (which Anita Sarkeesian consulted on). He wouldn't list that as the reason for the ban, though. He always hid his actual reasons, which is why I didn't notice what was going on at the time.

I can respect her take on Witcher 3 because it is a mostly masculine fantasy, but I kind of never really had a lot of women around me think that sexualised to a certain degree or pretty female characters need to go.

It is a fantasy, nobody is a 100-year old man with superhuman abilities and infinite sex drive either. All the main characters in most game are larger than life. And yes, killing a woman for dramatic effect is a trope but it's effective nothing wrong with that.
It's fun to play as a monster-slayer who beds all the beautiful ladies. It's fun to play as a red-head girl with a bow who kills robot dinosaurs who tells all the men off like they are nothing.
This empowerment is going in a completely wrong way.
