this whole thing is a good demonstration of what's wrong with modern progressivism
trans activists have already achieved representation. they have already won. less than 0.6% of the country is trans and yet how much media is devoted to them? far more than that. we have pro-trans murals painted on city streets being defended by public police. so they have already achieved cultural dominance that exceeds their actual physical numbers. trans intersectionalism IS CULTURAL HEGEMONY. this is what the perpetual victims miss.
yet it isn't enough. they want more. they want to force it on the rest of us. they want to cram it into everything. equal representation is not good enough for them, they want total dominance, which they call "equity".
so they want special rules. "you can't play a trans person if you aren't trans!" this rule was never in place for any other class. women played men. men played women. straight people played gay. gay people played straight. yet for this one class, nobody else is allowed.
"you can't exploit people sexually for marketing" again im sorry, perhaps you are late to the party, where every single class gets exploited by capitalism. there was gay porn for decades before gay marriage was legal. almost as if the cultural acceptance gradually followed legal?
but no, not for trans people. i guess these guys are special snowflakes we need to make another exception for?

either you want normalization, which can be momentarily painful as society adjusts, or you want special rules, which will only increase hostility towards you. pick one or the other. you can't have both.
