I noticed they never mention the Maori in Jackson's movies. They're everywhere - men in Bree, orc performers, Minas Tirith soldiers, Rohirrim, Faramir's troops in Osgiliath, merchants of Lake-town and so on.
And it's not like they specifically chose Maori to play the orc villains. Lawrence Makoare was one of the chief stunt performers and could handle the complex prosthetics for FOTR and ROTK. Azog and Bolg were originally Conan Stevens. They couldn't figure out the designs in time and had to rush mo-cap with Manu Bennett and Makoare. Bennett was a local actor with strong presence and voice on break from Spartacus and had weapons training - easy decision to make.
Funny, I could have sworn the way Newton did his work is to start with some basic concepts and then repeatedly apply math and follow the logic to get a result. Oh wait, that's exactly what happened and what physicists do today.
