This is what makes discussion there unbearable. Let's assume for a second that said movie's racism is a given fact. I'd argue it really isn't racist, but for argument's sake let's say it's "proven" it is. They're still deciding to give 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 month and permabans to users who politely express their disagreement. Why not use this opportunity to teach users something about the terrible things in the movie? Why don't show them how and why it's truly a racist piece of trash and educate them on racism in general?
