Resident Evil 3 Remake LEAKS thread (UNMARKED SPOILERS AHEAD)

There were going to be 4 costumes for Jill right?

Counted the pre-order too tho?
So, default, RE1 and pre-order or ? and ?.
Or maybe two of them are the default and one is just a damaged version.

I've only seen the STARS one.
I think that's it, and that's is another thing to add to the "disappointment list," but maybe they'll add more for free in a patch. This happened to RE2make with the '98 polygon costumes. I believe those were patched in a week or two after launch.

I feel the same way however Capcom doesn’t call these remakes, we do.
Right, Capcom calls them "reimaginings." Regardless, calling it "Resident Evil 3" means there will be some expectations that directly compare it to the original. Some elements need to be in the game. It's a balancing act that must be hard to get down.

It’s about playing the game the way it’s intended if you’re scared then u shouldn’t play.
Relax. I get your passion, and he's obviously playing the game in a way that it isn't intended, but how that that ruin your enjoyment? It's not like it's an official patch by Capcom; it's a fan-made mod.

Yeh the unkillable inconvenience that was Mr X had me shaking in my boots with his one move mega punch.

Forgive me for I have sinned.

I wonder if the classic and unforgettable 'Staff & Credits' theme made it in this Remake... One way or another....

Haha, I'm guessing no.

I actually really liked the end credits music in the 2nd Run of RE2make. It would be nice to get another 90s inspired song with lyrics, or something more mellow with a full orchestra, like the end credits of RE2 Classic (Scenario A).

As far as music goes, I hope the final fight against Nemesis is even more badass then The Final Metamorphosis.

Btw, a guy from that French forums is asking questions. I made an account and have been asking things using Google Translate, and he's been pretty great at answers questions. He said that R3make has more music that RE2make, there is no Nikolai boss fight, the hospital is his favorite segment, the lab is as big as the one from RE2make, and the city portion from the demo is approximately 30% or more of the city potions in the game. The city isn't very big.

I mean I can kinda understand it in later playthroughs, I modded out a bunch of enemies in some later playthroughs like the Ivy, Lickers and G-adults because I wanted to have a more traditional Zombie experience.
But on first playthrough I think that it's a shame really to just mod out Mr X or Nemesis.
It's sorta like an easy mode or cheating in Dark Souls, you're missing out on the intended experience that the devs worked hard on.
In Dark Souls death isn't just a game mechanic it's literally part of the lore and the narrative and that awesome feeling of overcoming is something that only comes from repeated failure and the adrenaline of perfecting your play against the boss.
After you're more used to the game tho you can sprint through the game, I can just pick up a Dark Souls game right now and run through it and basically 1 shot every boss. But the first times I played the games will always be a memory I have anyway.

It's sorta the same in RE2R and RE3R I think, there were moments in RE2R where Mr X did genuinely add a lot to my experience ( especially when he burst through a wall at one point lol ). But in later playthroughs he sorta loses his flare a bit and I sometimes mod him out.
Nemesis to me seems like an evolution of Mr X.
Mr X sorta trained you to have someone hunting you, and now it's the real deal.

Loot drops were also confirmed I think, so you'd also be missing out on the loot I think.

Does anyone have the other parts? Did that guy upload it yet? I want to see what happens after Tyrell comes to the hospital.

I'm out.

For real. I need to save everything in the hospital and lab until I can play it.

It's been a pleasure, guys. See you April 3rd.

I wonder how people go about getting an early copy. I imagine being rejected at about 90% of the places here in town. In fact, there are maybe 1-2 mom & pop game stores now. Use to be 7-10+ years ago. I’m not interested in those illegal downloads either. I mean walk inside the store and pay for an early copy.

I’m interested to see how many ways there are to die.

The YouTuber who uploaded the parts on YouTube said he had 3 more parts. But he was banned. I think he has the part 7 & 8. It means there were 2 more parts. Can anyone get those 2 parts?

I don't want to see any images, but to anyone who has seen the lab, does it look just like RE2make's? I'm hoping for something dirtier and more atmospheric. I know it has foliage growing, but so did RE2's.

Someone on ResetEra claimed there may be two different types (or sizes) of Drain Deimos. Is this true? The French guy I was talking to said that they only appear in that one section in the power station.

Gods work boys. Just need the ending now really?

I guess it will come, in time...
Street date is broke, so patience and it will pop up somewhere

As a weird thing of note, everywhere I've went looking for leaks ends up linking to here at some point. This thread seems to have a disproportionate amount of views and shows up pretty early in Google search results. I don't get it.

HI INTERNET!

So uh. Are people pleased with the game? Are you guys okay with what you've seen?
Not gonna lie, I'm quite disappointed. Every interview, trailer, and leak on this game, to me, has been bummer after bummer. I don't think this is the remake RE3 deserves, but maybe I'll be happy when I get my hands on it.

I believe that all that has been seen is not the whole game or is missing content, and I want to think that they will add it in the patch of day one. Because there are things that do not fit me and many of the videos that have been leaked I think are cut either by the player or by the game itself. For example, just an extra outfit for Jill ?, missing locations and bosses that had been named in the first big leak. Remember the Chinese boy from the Ambassador who had played a beta or something like that in the game? He said that Jill was going to the police station and a Licker appeared but you weren't fighting him because Nemesis was carrying him ... he also said that he had fought the worm. Was it all false? I believe that not everything has been shown yet and that gives me hope.

Another recap of the game footage, thus far.
1. A little bit of Jill in the sewers, meeting Kendo, Nemesis fight.

2. Nikolai's betrayal, Nemesis again, train derails, Carlos and Tyrell go to RPD, Brad and Marvin.

3. Carlos at the RPD

4. Nemesis fight at Clock Tower's lawn, Jill gets infected

5. Carlos at the Raccoon City Hospital

6. More hospital, Carlos fights a lot of zombies, Jill wakes up

A day one patch isn't going to add Mercenaries, the clock tower, more enemy variation, multiple endings, etc.

Hopefully, the patch does SOMETHING to at least fix the aim cancel and knife parry, which break the game completely--a huge oversight on the developers' part. And hopefully it fixes the terrible animation of Nemesis (and his AI from getting stuck on gates and other geometry), Jill's awkward arm snapping through her torso (this happens every time she does a quick step while holding a handgun--how did they miss this?). I don't expect any of this to be fixed after a patch, since R3make is just a game that lacks polish, but I could be wrong.

Fancy the latest interview with producer Fabiano?

Nothing really new there.
