It actually looks ok here. It would be fun to play with some close friends online. I just wish valve made L4D3 damn it, ugh. I guess Capcom filling in the blanks for now, is good enough.

Character abilities arent nearly as interesting as Outbreak's were. Not a fan if gun turrets either. Worst part of Outbreak was dealing with snipers and mines in a goddamn zombie game

Ehh, I'm not impressed.

The #1 competing game is Dead by Daylight and unless it proves to be more successful than that (it won't), it'll have a short life span.

That HUD is straight up the worst I've seen in a long time...

That said the game looks better than my gut first thought. Its still not the game I want out of this sort of thing mind you, but oh well...

They were doing so well with RE7 and RE2 Remake. And now that those games re-made RE relevant, they are regressing again.
This comment is a bit ironic considering RE7 and RE2 Remake were literally about regressing. Maybe fans should stop raging at Capcom for not making a nostalgic product once in a while? Seems like Capcom isn't even allowed to make a RE spin-off.

Well you know, that's my opinion man.

That comment would be ok, if it wasn't for the fact they are making RE8 still, and also, for all we know, RE3.

So we can't argue with them... That's like having a go at your kid for only working 2 hours a week at Subway, meanwhile he earns £3k a month selling insurance. I mean, come on, give them SOME credit. Sure the game isn't what people want, but they ARE still making what you want as well. This is a side project.

It's your opinion but I don't understand why developing a multiplayer spinoff which is totally separate from RE3 Remake or RE8 is considered "regressing"
Because after two very good titles I see that they are still interested about the action oriented take that never worked imo.

I really wish to put new monsters in this game.
I am really tired of the same Lickers and Tyrants in so many games.

Add new stuff and change it? MAAAN ITS NOT THE SAME GO BACK.

Re-do the same old stuff? MAAAN ITS ALL THE SAME GIVE ME NEW!

And repeat.

It looks ok, a bit messy though. It has some kind of Outbreak stuff going on but I'm not a huge fan of 4v1. I wonder if there will be a single player version available, as getting from point A to B with random enemies would be fun.

Also, the environment looks boring. They need to get the Police station in there or anything other than generic industrial stuff. Could be good, depends on how many map an de character's there are. A stop gap whilst waiting for REmake 3.

I like what I’m seeing, but I wish it was 4 v 2 or 5 v 2. I’m generally terrible playing as the solo opposition in these types of games (like Dead by Daylight or Evolve). Would be nice if I could have a buddy with me.

Still, will buy and play.

Interesting, it looks less like a trash fire than I was expecting, though it also looks like it fits more into the Dead by Daylight mold of competitive multiplayer than it does the Outbreak mold of a co-op campaign.

I'd have preferred the latter, but it's still cool seeing the RE2make engine and systems get more play.

Unfortunately that's not what I hoped for when I first heard about it. :(

Cool for everyone who likes these Kind of games tho.

Looks shit.

Why is there magic powers in this RE game?

Why is the UI assaulting my retinas with giant brightly colored numbers and particle explosions?

Why are zombies and shit spawning into the environment like demons summoned from hell?

This shit is weak.

Its fucking simple. Slower paced L4D with resident evil enemies and RE2 combat plus puzzles through the streets of Racoon City. That's all you had to do. Would have been a mega hit but you fucked it.

That was literally in one scenario and both can be so easily dealt with.

This has the potential to be funny, just hope will have a big variety of arenas and situations, and enemies too

Oh, is it normal that made born in me a tremendous desire to have a RE themed rts? Would be fantastic

I've always thought it'd be interesting to have a Theme Hospital-type game but instead you manage an Umbrella Lab where you oversee experiments, develop viruses, contain outbreaks, pay off police etc.

Shit, just thinking about, there's so much cool stuff you could jam into a game like that.

Eh, this, lots of possible stuff, characters, locations, activities and situations, I started salivating thinking of it
What illuminated me was the director interface in Resistance

Imagine having to manage a whole city, with underground labs, Raccoon City style, all in a Theme Hospital / Starcraft mood
