Is it ok to post videos?
I recorded some HD offscreen footage (using a tripod - so, shakeycam without the shaking) but wondering if its uncool due to the beta'ness.
If so, would anyone even care about seeing some random FFA on the 'Frisco map? Takes a ton of time to reencode + upload these types of clips.

Does anyone know whether the beta code via. Qore is locked to the PSN account it's sent to? Got my code as a Qore subscriber but I'm in the UK and obviously my Qore sub is on my US PSN account. Would rather redeem the code and play on my main UK account if possible, anyone know if it will be? Cheers.

Wow. Impressive.
It is a very different style of game now, it still handles and feels like R1 but everything else about it has changes. I like the class system, I have yet to understand the squad based combat I was kind of lost out there today. Co-op mode was crazy but awesome. It feels so new, I love it.

Ok when I get an invite from someone on my friendlist do I fo to their name in the list and select join game?
I got a couple of invites then when I tried to join it failed, any suggestions?

I was in an 8 man team that worked together, soldiers in the front alternating shields, specialists and medics behind keeping everyone alive. Awesome awesome stuff.
Co-op definitely feels like the best mode in the Beta. Played some TDM to finish the night up and it just felt overwhelmingly chaotic. Sniping was proving to be very deadly for me, but everyone else seemed to be in a battle of grenade spamming and minigun spraying. Way too frantic for me, considering I've been playing mostly COD4 Search and Destroy and Dead Space lately, :lol . But then TDM was never Resistance's strong suit.
Overall, I'm loving the amount of color in this game. Chicago at night was a bit too dark, but the neon lights were killer. And San Fran... wow. Great work on that one, guys.
Anyway, it's 4am. Further impressions will have to wait until after I get myself some sleep.

Sweet jebus on a pogo stick. Co-op is fuck amazing. And this is only after playing a rather short game online with some random ppl. As it was, there wasn't a lot of communication but still managed to have a blast. Goddamn Insomniac, good job.
Too bad i still suck at deathmatch. :lol

Just did 2 hours of straight TDM - DM and Skirmish.
Every single component of this game is the real deal.
I haven't had this much fun in a long time.
Once again: Thank you IG. There's not a single thing so far I have encountered online that I did not like at all.

Way to go, Insomniac. You've delivered yet another killer app. Co-Op is seriously the greatest thing to come out of this game. So unique, so damn fun. I'm not hugely keen on 60 player multi from the death match I've played, but I need to give the skirmish mode a shot.
Question for jstevenson, are there any other enemies in the co-op portion?
With this, LittleBigPlanet, and Gears 2 coming out in such a short period of time....too much fun, too little time

I doubt you've seen all the enemies in just Orick... but it's hard to say.

Oh i can only imagine. The game i joined only had one medic so i said to myself "Well, at least i'll try playing nurse for a bit". Next thing I know im running left and right trying to keep everyone at least on the yellow and playing ghostbusters with the healing gun, only this time its actually a good thing to join the beams. Man, just got done with a 3 hour play session (have to get ready for work).
I'll admit I was skeptical, all inhibitions about R2 are gone. Silky smooth framerate, no lag and it's so much fun. Weapons are expertly balanced now, great stuff. It's really addictive to see your score counter go up as you lay waste. I was having so much fun torturing a group of Chimera intent of swarming through a bottleneck on Orick, just kept pounding them with the Bellock.
It's now much, much easier to tell friend from foe, was worried that things would look garish with all the stats and colors, but it really helps you organise your squad better.
One request:
Please ditch fire or make it more obvious when you're being burnt, or have it burn you for a finite length of time (5 seconds?). I know, I know, "the screen flashes red dumbass", but it's just too easy not to realise you're on fire till its too late.
