Yeah, stats are backlogged in Europe for some reason. I know SCEE is working on it.

We had a CTF game that weekend. I had a 45/20 K/D in that game, and almost 100% of kills were on defense. It sucked hard losing those stats.

I can't believe how much better I'm playing now with my sensitivity lowered to 4. 5 was way too high for me.

I should mention: I won my first Lexington FFA game on Tuesday, just before playing with the clan. I went 24/10 - sweeeeeeet.

I'm relatively new to this game and just started playing it. One of the things that I hate is trying to do precision aiming with the analog stick. Maybe it's something you get better at with time, but it feels like it's all over the place sometimes. Which brings me to my question - do you think the aiming mechanism would have been better if they used the sixaxis motion sensors to control the position of the crosshair. It just occurs to me that you could be extremely precise and accurate by using the Sixaxis motion as opposed to the analog stick.

As it is, the use of the Sixaxis in Resistance isn't all it could be. Adding this new aiming scheme would be great, though.

I'm actually thinking about turning my sensitivity down a bit. I won't be on tonight but tomorrow, I'll try going to a 5 from a 6.

M3 said he was doing a little better turning his down so maybe I'll try the same and see what happens. Plus, sniping is a little too twitchy as it's set up for me right now. Here's hoping the "MELTDOWN IS TEH SUXXORS111" patch goes up before this weekend.

What about making them free later (like in two months) so the whole community doesn't get fragmented to hell? We'd probably lose half the clan on clan nights if it was close to $10.

Price is right at $5-$6 for 2 maps, then it's an absolute must buy. Glad it's definitely not more than $10.

They're setting a PSN precedent with this DLC. Don't screw it up.

OT: Same goes for Motor Storm. That DLC should definitely not be over $5 for one track.

The Wedge tactic explained:

The "flying wedge" is the term given to our tendency to mob together in a violent swarm and shoot the everliving hell out of anyone who dares get near us. It leads to multiple assists per kill which leads to a 20-60% increase in points. 16 points for a kill is far better than 10!

It does not, despite its name, resemble a true flying wedge - although generally whoever is at the front of the pack will get gunned down while those behind break through and destroy the opposition. So maybe it's not completely inaccurate.

Insomniac Games and Sony Computer Entertainment are happy to announce that we will be instituting a new ban policy for Resistance: Fall of Man online gameplay, effective immediately. Players may report cheaters using lag devices or using exploits to leave the intended playable area. Make a report by sending a private message to the MyResistance.Net "cheating" account (username: cheating). Cheating and the use of in-game exploits is not allowed in any game type, including custom and private games.

To enforce this policy we have in-game moderators documenting players who are involved in using, discovering, or sharing exploits with others. These moderators have the ability to join and observe any game or user in ranked, custom, or private games without the knowledge of the players in those games.

Initial bans for first-time offenders will be 24 hours. Bans will grow in length with each successive rules-violation, and attempts to circumvent a ban are grounds for an extension of it.
