This is basically the rog ally x 2. If its near 799 with 32gb memory etc its a great price.

Not super surprising. The base model is an especially bad deal since it's got very similar specs to the Steam Deck.

Valve's really got that Steam subsidy going for it.

For anyone who already has an Ally X, the difference is less stark, and will mainly be around the new Chipset and better ergonomics. Tradeoff is it's bigger, heavier and less attractive.
