Roger seems somewhat tentative so far, hitting so many shots into the net. And having so many break points and not converting is just :(

edit: Finally! First service break.

Oh now we have a match on our hands.

Also, doesn't Roger's wife look like that tranny suprise Nadia from big brother a few years back? :lol

Federer is on the warpath!!! Blimey he's pulling some awful nice shots out now.

He was hitting some beautiful balls in the first set, but they were just at the wrong time. That coupled with his first serve missing 70% of the time is what gave Nadal the set.

EDIT: Oh myyy, Federer's cross court backhand is just unreal.

Federer should be 2 sets up right now, instead he's 1 set down with the second set likely to be his but not definitely.

I mean, if he doesn't beat Nadal to the title with these sorts of opportunities, you wonder if he ever will.

Awesome stuff. Federer looks a little tired. It's so amazing when you know you're watching 2 of the greatest players to ever compete in a sport.

While I by no means support Nadal and want Federer to win I can't help but just be flabbergasted and impressed by the speed Nadal gets on the clay court. Not just his overall speed by also how it is assisted by his precision sliding. It's freaky.

Federer's carried on his average form from the semi. 1/17 on break-point and an unusual amount of unforced errors from him.

This is somewhat offtopic, but...

Have there been any famous matches that went the full 5 sets, and they went to a tiebreaker in all sets?

yes! :D

great game. Federer was kinda tired at the end, he kept trying to score aces or points in two or three moves.

now it's time for some Virtua Tennis 3 online :D

I don't know about 5, but I think there was a 4 round match between Sampras and Agassi that went to tie breakers in all. It was quarter final for something, I think.

I like how everyone who hugged Nadal looked at their hands to see had that shit from his back sticked to them.

Was a good match, but was expecting something a little more. Probably due to all the hype! Nadal was the better player on the day, Federer just didnt seem to get a solid grasp on the match in the 3rd and 4th sets.

Looking forward to the grass season now. Tempted to go down to Wimbledon again this year now I've got tennis fever!
