Oops, sorry, did'nt know they have a waiting list for Zattoo now. Has Eurosport a live stream?

Davydenko would have won this set against most players, probable with 6:0 against most, but Federer wins the set 7:5.

Wow! :)

I have a feeling that Davydenko might be killing himself inside, not taking advantage of his very early lead. But he needs to re-focus, and re-think like the match has already started and not dwell on what happened in the first set...yeah I know, easier said than done. :P

3 of 4 on break points for Roger against 2 of 14 or something for Davydenko, that's the story of the match till now.

Fredi

5:5 :)

I think it's actually possible that Federer could win this match 3:0 with less points won than Davydenko.

Edit: Ok, now it's not possible anymore.

6-5 to Davydenko.

Federer wouldn't want to lose a set so close when he can close it out; these matches are always so close with these two. Even on clay as this match demonstrates!

Ya Federer is going to have to up his game if he's to beat Nadal. That wasn't convincing.

Oh wait, Nadal is yet to play his own match. :P

HOLY CRAP

I was so nervous. I was in class but I wanted to know the result of the match so bad!! I left when it was 2-5. I am so glad that Federer won this in 3. Davydenko really doesn't believe that he can beat federer. He had about 2 or 3 set points in the third set. But he is playing Federer.:)

And now, to the final. :D And he broke the record for the most consecutive finals. But he needs to up his game on sunday. Otherwise he will lose to Nadal (I am assumig that will be Nadal in the final)

Nadal is leading Djokovic 5-4

It's sad to see that when someone is down one set to Federer or one set to Nadal on clay, they lose all self belief.

you are talking about Davydenko, a guy who has never defeated Federer and he obviously doesn't have the confidence to begin with to beat federer. This was clearly demonstrated in this match and in the AO last year.

but yeah, in general it is sad to see players get so discouraged.

Woot, go Roger. Are they only showing the semis on the Tennis Channel? Crappy if so since I don't get that (unless I want to pay).

it is on NBC I think

TTC is showing them starting at 4 pm est, i think

I only keep one eye on tennis stuff most of the year (and that get caught up in it again around Wimbledon), but it seems to me Djokovic and Murray are the two rising stars of men's tennis at the moment.

I might be proven wrong, but I have the feeling Djokovic will be consistently good, but never quite make it. Like, he'll make Grand Slam semis quite often (and maybe even the odd final), but I'm just not sure he has what it takes to win one.

Murray on the other hand I could see being all over the place. Sometimes going far, sometimes going out early...but I think he has the arsenal to actually win a Grand Slam at some point, even with the likes of Nadal and Federer around.

You need to watch the match. The first set Davydenko was on-par, if not better than Federer. It was once Federer got a break back at 4-3 that he seemed to lose a little bit of confidence, and then just bottomed out when he lost the set. He was playing the better tennis up until that point.

Djokovic really impressed me. His ground strokes are immense and that game said more about Nadal's performance on clay than his. I'm sure if he plays like that on other surfaces Djokovic will have success.
About Nadal, wow...
How the f**k can someone get back so many good shots and get his ass run around the court for so long and not tire. Possibly the greatest clay courter ever?

The final should be good.

Sharapova, Venus and Serena are out. Well, I officially don't give a damn about the womens' side.

Nadal vs. Feder (again) in the finals? Great. When are the finals anyway?

Nadal is hungry, and come Sunday he will get his revenge. Federbot will be deactivated.

I hate to admit it, but you're probably right. Federer has played well at the French Open this year. But Nadal has been amazing on clay this year. Federer needs to play like he did in the hamburg final and not like the semis if he is to beat Nadal.

Nadal is gonna be eating another trophy soon.

(I know that's not the French Open trophy)

That wasn't sarcasm :)

Now that I'm reading it, it really DOES sound sarcastic :lol

Haha. Yeah, it did. Although, I will agree that the final will be great. Really looking forward to it. :)

God, I hope not. Not that I dislike Rafa, but I just want to see Roger get it over with.
