duh. of course Halo 3 or a new Halo is in development. Halo & Halo 2 are by far Xbox's closest thing to a killer app.

Halo 3 should arrive 9-10 months after Xenon's launch, in time to brave the launch of PS3 in the west.

Personally I think they should have it ready for the X2 launch and grab market share that way as opposed to trying to release it during the PS3 launch, which lets face it is going to be humongous. I say this becuase H3's best bet is to silence the SONY hype machine about the PS3 inevitable launch (when X2 launches) rather than trying to drown out the PS3 itself.
